EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT
This paper roll system is HEAVY DUTY and made the same as more expensive name brand products. I did opt to use wooden bolts to mount the background stand for added security but I have no doubt the included hardware works just as well. I am very pleased with the performance and setup of the backgorund rollers, it really added a positive element to my studio, which was much better than using a standing background stand with little paper roll control.

Great budget backdrop holder
Perfect for a small photography/video studio. Works well with rolls of seamless paper. Super simple to assemble and mount (if you so choose). The brackets and tubes are metal, but the knobs and chains are plastic, so it's a great entry-level setup, but don't get too rough with it. Overall, great way to get those rolls of seamless off the floor!

If Using on Stands You Better Have Heavy Duty Ones As This Gets Heavy
I really like the concept of this background system, however, there are a few things that I feel could be improved. First, I got this system to currently use in my home studio on stands and later transfer to the new studio my husband is having built for me on our property. Once in the new building, the system will be attached to the ceiling.Using the system on stands requires a decent support to hold all the weight. You will have to either invest in heavy duty stands or do what I did and make the setup smaller by reducing the crossbar length (only use 2 of the three sections). I have heavy duty light stands, but I wanted to keep those for lighting and boom arms. So, I resolved to use an average set of stands for this system. This proved problematic if using the crossbars at full length. The weight is so heavy that although the stands stayed upright, I worried that one slight bump and everything would come down. So, this only allows me to have about a 6-7 foot width backdrop. That amount is fine for most of what I do at the moment, but I was looking forward to going larger. If I had enough heavy duty stands I may have a different opinion.Second, I found that when I had the rods in the longer position, they kind of bent a little from the weight which causes a slight drape in softer backdrop fabrics. I hope this is not an issue once I have the system on the ceiling. I was scouring the internet for a better way of using the crossbars. What I might do if the length bends too much is possibly replace the crossbars with PVC pipe or heavy cardboard tubes (like from an upholstery fabric store).Overall, the system went together easily and it works. I do feel like the entire system is constructed a little on the light side. Also, I just don’t care for the three colors of “chain”. It doesn’t seem professional looking to me. However, that’s just my style and has nothing to do with function.I knocked off a star mainly for the overall light construction. Other than that, I like the concept and function of the system very much.

Great intro setup
Very good for an at-home photography setup. Simple and easy to put together. It's relatively small when packaged and you have to make the tubes longer by nesting them in each other. Fairly sturdy. Obviously you don't want to hang on it and good for the size. Functionality is comparable to other more expensive ones with a standard plastic chain and rolling pins.

I've Tried the Rest, Now For the Best!
This item matches my other acquisitions with strong and purposeful construction that add versatile storage room to my studio. However, this one ADDS welcome surprises. This package comes with the support tubes and it gets even better. Not only are the included tubes supplied at a price point much more economic than 2" thinwall conduit, the of smaller diameter (to easily fit more backdrops) and they come in 3 pieces for easy transport and assembly! These backdrop mounts are certainly a necessity for my small studio and tis one, with the tubes, is the best yet!

Sturdy and Versatile Background Support System for Photographers
This photography background support has been a great addition to my photo studio. The ability to mount it on walls, ceilings, or light stands provides fantastic versatility, allowing me to set up my backgrounds exactly where I need them. The 118-inch stainless steel tube crossbar is robust and feels very durable, giving me confidence that it can support various background materials without any issues.Setting up the system was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided. I appreciate that it comes with three rollers, which makes it easy to switch between different backgrounds smoothly. This feature is particularly beneficial during shoots where time is of the essence. The rollers operate well, ensuring that the backgrounds can be adjusted quickly and efficiently. However, I did encounter a couple of minor issues. While the construction feels solid, the mounting hardware could be a bit more robust, especially for heavier backgrounds. I recommend double-checking the stability once installed to ensure it can hold up under different conditions. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a few extra mounting options included for those who may want to use it in various locations.Overall, this photography support is an excellent choice for photographers looking for a reliable and flexible setup. It performs well and is easy to use, making it a valuable tool in my studio.
