Polder 7 Gallon, Undersink, No Skid Rubber Base, Brushed Stainless Finish Trash Can, 13.5” x 11” x 15”

This trash can is heavier and larger than I thought. For the description of 15 inches high, I was worried it's too small for my kitchen's need (I keep it outside the counter and did not try to see if it will fit under the counter or not). But it was a nice surprise. The size is what I had hoped for, the mouth was wide open, which really helps when you need to throw in stuffs without worrying to drop it outside. In this size, the can is nearly full by the end of the day, and we just change the new bag. With previous cans, we had to either change trash bag when the day was not over, or hang on to the old trash bag for another day because it would be only half full.The bottom is made of rubber which helps prevent scratching the floor, and I can drag it around when I need to clean the floor without having to lift it up. The rubber string to keep bag in place is the perfect feature of this. With previous trash cans, we have struggled to find a way to keep the bag from sagging down to the bottom once the trash is built up, unless we used bags with strings and used the bag strings to hold them from slipping down , bags bigger than the can, or used trash cans with lids. So, the rubber bands helps and does not make it look sloppy. The material seems decent. I went to stores and checked out trash cans of all styles and was not satisfied because they were not cheaper, seemed so flimsy and did not meet my needs of having something decent looking but not too fancy to the point that it is no longer convenient. In short, I love this trash can and think I made the right decision to buy it.

Very happy with this stainless steel under sink trash can. It looks nice and is very sturdy, but when it’s loaded with garbage, it’s heavy and a bit difficult to pickup and remove from the under sink cabinet; adding some type of handles or better gripping surface around the upper edge/perimeter would be helpful.

It's a garbage can, it holds garbage. I bought this to replace a plastic garbage can that was tearing apart from use. This can is very sturdy very well made and I like the fact that it has a rubber ring around it to hold a trash bag on it. I have this in my office and I can throw whole sheets of paper and it and stack up a lot of trash before needs to be emptied. What can I say, it's a garbage can

The size of this product is perfect for apartment undersink use, and as indicated by other reviewers, eight gallon bags fit this perfectly. It does have highly visible side seams, if appearance will be an issue. This would have been a five star rating for a highly useful product at good value, that fell short on poor detailing from the supplier. The rubber retaining band was missing from the top of can. As reported by many previous reviewers, this arrived with a product sticker that covers a whole side of the can and is impossible to remove without soaking, scraping, and ultimately scratching the product. It would seem that Polder Products is choosing to turn a deaf ear to their customers and persist in this ridiculous packaging choice. For those concerned with product appearance, this to me is a much bigger issue than the side seams. Had more concern for the consumer been exercised, rather than pasting the brand all over the product, this would have been a home run.

This was a great height as you could actually put trash in under the sink without having to tilt forward. The band that holds the trash bag is genius!

Bummed I paid ~$50 for a stainless steel garbage can that rusts. I've had this for less than 4 months, never used it without a standard 13gal garbage bag, and discovered this morning that there's rust in the bottom and also on the exterior side panel. This can is kept under my kitchen sink, but it's never wet under there and I've never taken out a leaky bag. I do not recommend spending ~$50 for 3 months worth of a good garbage can. Other than the quality issue, the size and shape were great. What a bummer.
