Nicely made, everyone complimented them!
This was for my first steampunk costume, and everyone complimented them. They are attractive and detailed. The glass magnifiers are removable via clips, which you should make sure are tightly on before going out. Thes eare definitely for tinkerers and not aviators, so know your theme before buying. Safety notices: Don't pick up babies while wearing these because they will grab them and pop off the clips. And watch the pointy parts! You can see through the lenses, but it is dark and very green, so don't be a clown and drive with them, or operate heavy machinery. Most importantly, don't kiss someone or you might poke their eyes out. :-)

Great parts to create your own steam punk gloggles
I was so disappointed in the product when they arrived. They were a Christmas gift for a steam punk fan and I really could not bring myself to give them to him in the condition they arrived. They're a half-hearted effort, obviously put together to benefit from the steam punk trend. I ended up pulling it apart, spray painting the goggles brown and replacing the 90s looking strap with a brown leather and elastic strap that was much more fitting.I was happy with them after I doctored them, but definitely too expensive for what they are!

That picture is,worth a thousand words.....
Put together $6.00 pair of cheap welding glasses, .25 cent worth of hose clamps from Home Depot, a .50 cent jewelers loop and a little trinket from Michaels arts & crafts and "Walla" you have a pair of $40.00 brand new Steampunk fashioned eye glasses....yup that's what I got....the pic does it all justice. It's not that the glasses were broke or that anything was defect anout them, the fact that I just $80.00 for two pair of glasses I could have made at home for around$10.00 bucks a pair is just wrong. This retailer has a mark up on,these glasses by 300% so if you wanna save the money I highly recommend doing it yourself at home....I researched the glasses online and they are made with the ones that cost only $6.00 everything else can be bought at your local hard wear store, and the dollar store. Boy do I feel gullibly having spent that kind of money on something like this.....they did a great job on the photo that they have listed with the description of the glasses....the photo did it justice by a thousand percent....it's what sold me among all the other eye wears in the SteMpunk category. I'd send them back but they were a gift and no time to do a refund. So outside of that it's up to you.. You can spend $10.00 and about 20 min of your time glueing the knick nack on the glasses, putting the hose clamps around the frame Id go that route, Or unless you wanna make the Rothchilds of glasses wallet fatter then By all means order here....they were quick with the delivery and the package came wrapped very nicely.

Very cool but kinda fragile
Got it as a gift for my fiancee and she LOVED it! She wants to put together a steampunk costume and this piece is beautifully done. The attached magnifying lenses are a little fragile so you kinda have to handle it with kid gloves, but we haven't had a problem so far. Lenses are tinted pretty dark, so not recommended for everyday-all-the-time use, but work nicely as sunglasses. Very cool piece especially for costuming purposes.

Fun wear
I bought this because it reminded me of the Mad Hatter or from a music video i saw on the internet. But anyways about this product: 1st thing is the time it came to my house was VERY FAST {aka shipment} and it was covered in bubble wrap like no ones business...But I'd rather have it wrapped like that vs no care/ thought process while shipping it! {Good job!} As I unwrapped it, the pieces were intacted & everything looked just like the picture shown. Now some of the pieces are very delicate such as the 4 mini lenses but never less. It still made me smile & super excited to try them on.Oh also, It's not a heavy piece if your thinking it is because of all the stuff... I would recommend this as a stylish twist....I don't know about everyday wear, since I work in a hospital, but when I want to be different & put my twist & wear a bandanna & this... WATCH OUT WORLD... here comes trouble....

Love the Item, but it was missing parts
I recently received my goggles, and they were missing a set of magnifying glasses. Unfortunately I cant find contact information for the seller besides to request an invoice or thank them, and Amazon wants me to send the item back. Which I don't want to do, all I want is the second set of magnifying lenses. Does anyone know how to get a hold of this company? I am rating it at 2 stars solely for the missing parts. will change it to 5 once I am able to get them.

Awesome googles
Great googles. Now, I had bought these for Halloween. When I showed them to my 10 year old daughter, she said cool Steampunk googles!. I asked her, how in the world do you know what these are? Now, how does a 10 year old girl know this & I didn't???!!! : )That should say enough about the quality. They fit well & I had tons of compliments. Wore them for approx. 2 hours straight for a Halloween parade w/o issues.I agree with another commenter that the lupes fall off easily, be careful. no problem while wearing them, though. If this is what you're looking for, you can't go bad with these.C.
