Bad wifi adapter.(.I thought)
1)Item only work correctly for approximately 1 month. It now disconnects every so often. It's not my internet because all other wifi stay connected. Passed return date by 2 days. Started out good but is a bad product. It's a wolf in sheeps clothing. Do not buy this item.2)I must change my rating from a 1 star to a 5 star, the seller reached out to me and gave me some direction on what I should do to correct the problem that I was having and if that didn't work they would send me another one/Wi-Fi adapter. They seem to want to take full responsibility for the product that the sale.. I did as they instructed and it is working now. If there is any change for the worse I will add to this review. So at this time I do recommend this product and the Amazon Seller - USBNOVEL Direct.

BEWARE: These guys keep changing the product in the description!!! Problems with USB, overheats
BEWARE: These guys keep changing the product in the description!!! I think they're doing that to keep their reviews from other products. This review is for their USB-C adapter dock. Two major problems:-The USB ports don't work properly. Using a USB clicker for slideshows DOES NOT WORK through this adapter. So if you do presentations, beware. It may be that the dock cannot properly provide power to USB devices.-This product gets extremely hot, even when it's barely being used. I'm afraid this could end up destroying my peripheral devices.Positives: Looks nice externally. Metal enclosure.CONCLUSION: I have to buy a new dock, since this one isn't doing the job. I would not recommend buying this, just to save a few bucks.

ZERO documentation but works well once it's installed
I have an older laptop that only has 802.11N for WiFi, which maxes out at about 50Mbps. I wanted a way to take advantage of the 100Mbps Internet connection my ISP & 802.11AC router can provide. I'm fairly experienced with basic PC updates, but struggled to get it to install. There is NO support and the "manual" is the back of the package that just says it's Plug & Play... VERY poor directions, as in effectively none. I'm fairly tech savy & it took me over fifteen minutes to instakk, and ZERO support or troubleshooting when it failed to work away from my home network.Once you discover that you have to first turn OFF your built-in NIC card, THEN plug it into an open USB port. When you insert it, you need to tell Windows to open it to view files. Then doubleclick on the windows or Mac folder to find the installation file.PRO: I now consistently break 100MbpsCON: Despite claiming to offer MIMO capability it will only connect to EITHER the 2.4Ghz or the 5Ghz signal from my router, but NOT both.

Convenient and easy to set up
My laptop was old and having issues seeing my new AC1900 wireless network so I bought this little gadget to hold me over until I eventually upgrade my laptop. Even though the adapter is only rated for AC600 it's not like my 5yr old gaming laptop is blazing fast. The adapter took me literally 2 mins to set up. I took it out of the packaging, plugged the sucker in, selected the driver to install from the reinstalled packaged on the device, selected my new network to connect to and I was up and running. Literally 2 mins from the time I opened the package to the time I was connected to my new network. I guess I could have paid more for something more fancy or name brand badged but this device does the trick, works perfectly and I don't need any antenna or cumbersome attachment to my laptop. Not sure about the long term but for now this device works perfectly and is simply great.

Performs well, low profile, easy to install.
I needed a decent but inexpensive wifi adapter for my desktop computers after I changed ISP and had to relocate my router. I was a bit skeptical at first if the wifi connection would be good enough, but after testing and using for a while, I'm happy to say that it has met and exceeded my expectations. Router and computers are in the same room, so no outside interference is noticeable, speed tests show great connection speed.

Poor and misleading description
I read the complete description, including bullet points, before ordering this item. At that time, there was no mention of it not working with Linux. It has subsequently been returned to the vendor,

Easy to use 😁
So I recently purchased the new MacBook which has nothing but usbc plugs 😑. I have been searching for awhile for something to allow me to plug in other things, then I saw this! For the price it was definitely worth it! It works so well and now I can charge my iPhone through my computer easy peasy!

DELIVERS EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAY.
I bought this item as an upgrade for an older Dell OptiPlex Core 2 Quad with Windows 7. I can easily say that it works as well as stated in the description and worth every penny. I was so happy with it that I immediately bought another one in order to upgrade my laptop as well.
