Q: Hello is it water tight? Could I fill up the sides and not have it leak on the floor?

It does have little rubber seals in every joint to provide a degree of water tightness. I can't promise whether this will make it 100% water tight though. We'd filled the canal up with water, the kids mixed sand into it and after a week or so the sand in the canal had gone dry. Also, if there's water in the canal there's always the risk of water spilling over onto the floor during play. All in all a good sand pit that was very quick and easy to assemble and has already provided many hours of imaginative play.
