Well.. I thought I found the perfect one..
So, I hate to write a bad review on this bag just based off of all the 5 stars, but here goes.. I received the item in a timely manner with no flaws and bought this specifically because I do a lot of weekend travels type trips. All in all, I've used this bag twice. Once was just a day trip with practically nothing in the bag. I received several compliments and I was very happy with the product as it seemed sturdy and rugged, but also stylish. However, the second time I used it I brought it on a plane. I had two outfits and some essentials stored, not fully packed, nor empty. FIRST, just from the weight of some clothing the top handle ripped away from the bag which in no way should have happened. It’s fixable as it didn’t rip the canvas, but the stitching was the problem. I figured it was no big deal and I could easily fix it by stitching it back up. BUT THEN, the zipper on the top pocket broke and came off the track. Upon further investigating, it didn’t seem damaged nor defective, but indeed cheap looking. I was in no way rough with the bag for this to have occurred. This bag had so much potential for me and I’m upset that it was such a waste of money on top of an inconvenience of breaking while on a trip (since I couldn't really use another bag). I’m hoping I may have just received a bad case and the quality isn’t like this for all. I’m hoping to return this and get another one with no problems. Here’s to crossing fingers! (I will update upon my adventures of getting another bag because this item really seems great otherwise)

Great Bag, Terrible Zipper Quality
I love this bag, and it hurts me to give it 3 stars. I use this bag as my daily everything bag (gym, work, groceries) as my primary mode of transportation is a road bike.Pros- Capacity is great, plus the cylindrical shape and minimal pockets helps you take advantage of it (vs backpacks with multiple divides/partitions)- Amazing carry-on and weekend getaway bag- Laptop sleeve, critical for work- Style, looks great- Straps are well padded, without being over padded.- Customer serviceCons- The zippers, why did they use such cheap zippers... within the first 2 weeks the zipper on the outside pocket fell off its "track" so the zipper no longer zipped. Then when trying to bend it back onto the track, it crumbled into multiple metal pieces, not snapped, crumbled. I have sewn half the pocket shut on the outside so when the bag is vertical I can still store my phone and keys in there, but from a zipper standpoint it is no longer functional. My concern is that the zippers for the main compartment look the same, so I am just waiting for those to fail as well and at that point I wont be able to zip up the bag, rendering it no longer usable.Update: Seller saw my commentary and has provided me with a new bag and so far the zippers are holding up. Slight variations between both bags (the replacement is actually slightly larger). All in all great customer service and even despite the zipper being broken I have still used the bag since purchase, they are truly great and utilitarian. Increasing from 3 to 5 stars

It's a pretty good bag
Admittedly, my expectations for this bag were probably a little too high after reading all of the super-positive reviews. It's a pretty good bag. The canvas is thick, the zippers seem to be sturdy enough, and the stitching is solid. I am hard on bags and have a pretty specific list of things that look for. It meets most of the qualifications.My (admittedly sort of nit-picky) issues with the bag are: (1) It doesn't have real leather trim. It's possible I misread the description, but I was expecting real leather. This fake leather is thick and good quality; it seems like it's going to be durable enough, but it's not going to get that nicer-with-age-and-handling look. (2) The bag is smaller than I thought. I should have gotten out a tape measure instead of relying on my impression. It's still a pretty good size, but the expectation of the amount of gear I would be able to fit was a little higher. It's a standard gym bag, not a mid-sized military style duffle. It's going to be challenging getting two weeks of travel gear into it. This was my mistake. (3) There is no side zipper with access to the inside of the bag. Given the straps, I guess this makes sense. It's probably better that way; a lot of strain would be rough on vertical zipper on a backpack.Really, most of these issues were only issues because of my own expectations. I think that if I would have known these things I would have still bought it. Overall, I think it's going to last. If it doesn't I'll update.

Works great as a gym bag for almost 11 months
I bought this bag for my husband for Christmas and he really likes it. He uses it for the gym and he can fit a pair of shoes, gym clothes, and bath toiletries. I bought a small toiletry bag for him and it works well with the bag. He's a big guy and he says it's comfortable! It's a backpack, duffel bag, and it has a strap on one end to carry it upright.UpdateAfter 11 months of almost daily use, the zippers have broken and we had to recycle it.

Good, but...
This is a great backpack/ duffel bag for the price. I knew the top zipper was cheap from the reveiws, but I didn't think it could be that bad... Don't pick it up from the top handle unless you've replaced the zipper with something heavy duty. If you plan to grab it from the end and pull it over from the passenger seat to the driver's seat get a heavy duty (parka) zipper) and sew it in there, because the stock zipper only handles about 10lbs. Other than that, this is the best duffel/ backpack I have found, and everyone asks where I got it. If I could add one thing (except a better zipper) it would be a thong to hang it on a hook backpack style. But crossing the straps works just fine.
