This plant was purchased for my betta aquarium. The leaves are thicker but not sharp. One of the plastic spikey plants at the bottom were unattached upon arrival but that did not bother me because I am taking them off anyway because I feel they are too sharp for him to swim through. This plant was hot glued into the base and it was a mess. Glue globs and strands are everywhere and I will be cleaning that up as well. There is NO suction cup at the bottom but there is a big glob of hot glue. As far as value for the money I feel it should cost maybe $2.00 less because it is so sloppily made and was apart upon opening...so much glue but it doesn't hold?!. It is pretty and full. Some leaves came curled and folded. I am hoping that I can relax them with a warm hair dryer to get them to flatten out somewhat. Overall I am not dissatisfied with this purchase. Once it is in the aquarium it looks nice and has plenty of places for my Betta fish Artemis to rest and swim.

Would be fine, but this fake plant is HUGE. A good 2-2.5 inches taller than advertised at LEAST. Way too big for my 10 gallon aquarium with the existing decor & 2 young black moor goldfish. I’ve been looking for a good lotus/lily/round-leaf plant for my aquarium for a while and unfortunately it looks like the search will continue.

i personally think this product is beautiful but when i received it, it was missing 2 of the lotus leaves and then 2 of the lotus stems fell off when i took it out of the box, and the grass fell off .... it had a very chemical smell, and i had to soak it in hot water to get rid of that. Then i had to super glue the stems and leaves back in place. Then and only then could i place it into my aquarium. i do plan on buying more, but only because i cant find any other artificial lotus plants of this size anywhere else.

I really liked this plant, it was a lot bigger than I expected like most people said, but I’m not complaining because it fit perfectly in a 10 gallon. The leaves are big and sit close to the surface so my betta can rest on them. I took off the bottom piece that was kind of pokey, was supposed to look like grass. I didn’t really like it and I didn’t want it to hurt her fins. Other than that it’s a great product and the price is really good as well

I bought this mostly to tie together some other decor in color, as I had purple and green plants but none that were really both. As others have noted, the leaves arrived kind of squashed. They did relax and open up a bit in the warm water so there's no creases. It's not the most realistic looking of plants, but it's not bad, either. I may cut off the spiky grass at the bottom, that's the part that screams 'plastic'. The upper leaves are fine.But whatever I think of it, the fish cannot get enough of it! The guppies hide in it, the betta hides in it, and I've even caught the cory cats lounging on the leaves. The leaves form a bit of a cup and the fish just love resting there. I might have to get one for my other tank and see if the mollies love it as much as they do.

Overall, a good piece of aquarium decoration. The leaves are soft, but supported enough that my king betta rests on it comfortably. He enjoys it more than the real plants. Fits nicely in a 10 gallon tank.I only have 2 criticisms. I looks really fake, but that is a matter of preference. The real problem it that there are what seem to be plastic blades of grass attached to the base. These are fairly stiff and a little sharp. I could easily imagine them tearing a betta's delicate fins. I would highly recommend tearing those off before putting this in a fish tank.I'd recommend this for any betta tank, but only if you remove that grass.

Needed some background foliage for my 10 gal betta tank, this is beautiful! It is a lot taller than I expected, but I buried it in my substrate a little bit and it now is perfect height with the water. I ripped the neon green silicone bits off the bottom because they were ugly, but super easy to remove. May buy more of these

This is a great plant, unique and betta approved! The cup-like leaf shape is perfect for your bettas to hang out in ☺️ Also I appreciate the quality base and look of this base over the other plastic, cheap plain resin look bases seen on most aquarium plants.
