A great buy!
What a great bag!I got this a few weeks ago and since then it has been used nearly daily and because rain is never far away where I'm living it has served its purpose very well. When I first picked it up I noticed is how spacious the rucksack was. There is only one main compartment that I use for shoes, 1 shirt, 1 pair of trousers, 1 large towel, 1 small medkit and kryptonite bike lock. Having all of the above neatly folded and arranged leaves me with 1/3 empty space for any additional stuff which is great if I need to do some shopping on my way home. It also features a small zipper pocket for small accessories, two lateral pouches for water bottles and an elastic at the front for holding a sleeping mat for camping. The rucksack is made of a tarp-like material coated in rubber and the zipper is sealed with rubber for waterproofing. And waterproof it is! The top of the sack folds and is secured by two lateral clasps. this prevents rain from getting inside, as water will simply drip down the folded opening. On several occasions heavy rain caught me whyle cycling and my clothes stayed 100% dry. I use the small pocket to store spare batteries for my lights and that stayed dry as well.I can't really compare it with other products because it's my first waterproof bag/sack but judging by my experience there is no better one for this price.

Does what it says on the tin
I wanted a genuinely waterproof backback for my often very wet walking commute to work in Yorkshire. This is certainly that. There are no zips to fail, you just roll the top of the bag over and secure with clips at the side. It's cavernous- I didn't realise 20L was quite so big. There is just one pocket, which is black inside, my stuff disappeared into what looked like a vast black hole. I think I might invest in a few internal bags to be able to find stuff more easily. It has one chest strap, but for me, a hip strap would have been helpful. The shoulder straps are comfortable. It sits close to your back, the only downside for me is that being small, at 5-3", as the bag is so long, it sits rather lower on my back than I'd like it to, particularly when full. This wasn't a problem when my 6 ft husband tried it on.Apparently it floats too- but I'll wait for the floods to try that out.Arrived in very good time, well packaged. Great service.

Strap broke after four months
This is a great product ... until the strap breaks. My son has been using it to cycle to and from lectures. The rest of the rucksack is still in perfect condition but clearly the stitching around one of the straps is not secure enough. This is sold as a rucksack for cyclists and runners and I would have expected it to last more than four months. It says it has a five year guarantee and I have contacted Amazon to see if this is actually the case. If the problem is sorted under guarantee I would then feel confident to give this an excellent rating.

Ingenious piece of kit
It took me a few minutes to figure out that, in order to close it, you just fold it over itself then clip it to the 'extra' clips and, hey presto, a good seal. This is more intuitive once you've stuffed it full of stuff. The other big advantage is that the interior is absolutely cavernous, so you can decide exactly how you wish to use the capacity for yourself. In my case - for a cycle commute - I need to store a laptop, iPad, change of clothes, micro fibre towel, padlock and few other bits and bobs. It'll all fit fine, in fact probably only use about half to two thirds of the bag's capacity, but I'll need to invest extra for a few packing cubes, plus skin each for the laptop and iPad. But, once done, I'll have everything I need - well packed, well protected and completely weather proof. It's supremely comfortable to wear as well, and sits quite high on the back, so ideal for cycling/walking and lightens any load by ensuring that the weight is higher rather than lower. My conclusion? Quite a 'technical' piece of kit, but one that I am impressed with so far. I'll endeavour to update my review once I've used it for a while.

Great bag for Autumn/winter cycling commute
I've been using this bag over October, November and December on my cycling commute. The bag has been through some of the wettest weather that we get in Scotland and it has performed brilliantly. I have definitely had my money's worth out of it.My commute is along country paths and roads with water, mud, leaves and all manner of crap. I usually travel with laptop and clothes in this bag and they have been dry as a bone. There are no inside pockets for the laptop which means everything (laptop, lunch, clothes, chargers, phone) get bunged into together which is fine for me.I am very glad to report that despite being used so heavily through some of the worst autumn/winter weather I have cycled in, all the stitching and fastenings are still in tact and working fine. This is impressive as I have occasionally had the bag filled to capacity. This is a great simple product that has been really good for me. Would recommend it to any commuter cyclist.

Black & Green Waterproof Rucksack Review
This rucksack is of excellent quality, kept spare clothes/food dry on rain filled weekend trip to Bewl Water and when cycling to work.If the rucksack had an additional compartment inside for a laptop I would give this product 5 stars. Thanks for the good product No Label.

So bad, I am angry!
When I opened the bag up originally all the buckles were threaded incorrectly, I should have guessed at that point I was not going to be impressed! Within 20 minutes of starting using this bag the shoulder straps and waist belt disintegrated, having only been held on with a single line of cotton thread. I would have been better off with a Tesco's carrier bag! So bad it's made me really angry.

Great bit of kit
I spent a long time looking for a bag that is big enough to carry all my kit to work, waterproof, and looks good. This ticks all boxes with the added benefit that it is really comfy to wear. Very much recommended.
