Hazer Baba Apricot-Almond-Honey Turkish Delight, 16oz

I was afraid when it arrived that after spending all day in the heat on the delivery truck that it would be spoiled, but the Turkish Delight is delicious and I am enjoying this flavor very much. It is a rich treat, so staying to the recommended serving size is easy, and I can taste the honey and almond flavors with a little bit of apricot. And this box has had actual almond bits in each piece, something I haven't always found in the ones that are supposed to be a variety of nuts in it! So far, Hazer Baba is the best maker of the Turkish Delights I have tried...

Was TOTALLY disappointed. Candy was ok if you spit the nuts out. The nuts in the candy were rancid. Thought maybe it was just bad in one or two pieces. Ate a few pieces, & those pieces with nuts inside, all tasted rancid. Tasted & smelled bad. Those pieces with no nuts tasted just ok. Will not purchase from this company again.

Yum! This is our second year of serving Turkish Delight at our Christmas and Holiday celebrations, and we love this candy. This exotic treat is absolutely perfect in every way. The texture is firm and chewy, and the flavor is fantastic. This is a very good product!

This was my first time trying any Turkish Delight. This has a great flavor, texture and chewiness but for me there was just too much corn starch on the outside that made it quite messy. I also tried another brand and at least with that one I could see what color the item was before biting into it. This brand was just solid white on the outside.

This is delicious! It also is vegan; it does not have honey (its a honey flavored ingredient). Arrived on time and well packaged. Lots of powdered sugar coating, but that is to be expected with any of these types of candies. Ive gone through almost the entire box in 2 days. Felt it to be fair price for amount of candy.

These were hard as a rock and filled with rancid nuts! I had to spit it out. What a disappointment!

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of chocolate, but once in a while it is nice to find another sweet that is surprisingly delightful. I googled Turkish Delight after seeing one of those how-it's-made TV shows and hearing about the history of this concoction, and the fact it was originally made with roses intrigued me. So I wanted to find an authentic Turkish recipe, and Hazer Baba seems to be the real deal. Admittedly I have not yet tried the rose flavor, but only because there are no nuts in it, and I am nuts about nuts, so the apricot-almond-honey seemed like a good alternative. Once I got it, I realized that the apple and apricot candies I have been ordering for years from Liberty Orchards must have been inspired by Turkish Delight - it is almost identical, except of course in price - this is cheaper, and it's the original.

I'd never heard of this combination of flavors before and was intrigued. I am a fan of Turkish Delight in general--as long as it's good! This was like being whisked away to a foreign land. I'll buy it again!
