I do a lot of 3D printing and mold making. Invariably, something needs to be ground down, polished, trimmed, or otherwise altered to get the desired outcome. I wanted something small and light that I could use to get down in those nooks and crannies, so I thought I would give this a try. Excellent choice. This rotary tool is well made out of good quality materials. Fit and finish are excellent. The tool is nice and light. Easily manipulated. The touch switch did take me a little bit to get used to -- make sure to read the directions how to use it. Once you get used to it you'll love it. Comes with the usual accessories. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

I really wanted this rotary tool to work. It’s hard to turn on and off. Instructions say double touch the on switch. Very hard to get it to turn on but once it does, then it’s hard to get it to turn off. Had good power once it turned on. Loved the light. Speed selection worked almost too easily. Slight touch changed speed. Not certain how long the battery would last. Would not turn on again after being unplugged overnight. It was annoying that it was hard to turn on but even worse that it took more than a minute of tapping to get the tool to turn off.

I thought I was going to give this product 1 star and write a review mirroring other negative ones about the device failing to even turn on, or even the one where it would not turn off. Despite showing a full charge, I couldn’t get the unit to respond at all. I read the manual, push twice to start and twice to stop. But nothing worked. I checked the reviews and saw this had happened to others. However, I also watched a couple of videos of users with no issues merely tapping the power symbols. I realized the “buttons” are touch and do not require any pressure and inspected the tool closely.I found it has a protective clear sticker over the buttons presumably to protect only until used, like many electrical devices. There is no mention of it in the manual, and it fits quite perfectly over the area without any indication it requires removal. Most screen protectors include a flap on the end to provide grip and indication of the need to remove it. This one can easily be mistaken for part of the tool. Yet, once removed, the unit responds immediately to power on and adjust speeds. Even in the current top 1 star review, around 20s in, it appears the same sticker is still on that unit based on the texture reflection.In actual use, the tool works well. The small size is easy to use for detailed work on small projects. The power is fine for this as well and not intended for large, heavier workloads. As a test, I was able to “stop” the motor by applying to much pressure using a sanding drum against a work piece.It includes various accessory pieces and a quick explanation in the manual of each type. The included collet fit the accessories, but I also found the collet from my Dremel fit allowing use of all the accessories for it. That is a nice bonus.All in all, I would recommend this cordless detail tool.

I used this once, then went through a move. The tool got buried in a box. When I opened it less than 6 months later, the battery was dead as I expected. I plugged it in over night, the battery indicator showed the charge was full… I double-clicked the power button but it didn’t power on.I read the manual and it says the unit must be charged every 35 days! Even with my move behind me, I’m a hobbyist and this is not a tool I’m going to use every month. I would need to put a note in my calendar to remember to charge this regularly.The manual also says the manufacturer honors a 1-year warranty. I contacted them to request a replacement, I heard back from them, but they chose not to honor the warranty.If the battery requires charging that often in order for the tool to work, the a bold WARNING sticker should be placed on the listing, the box and the device, that this is NOT a tool for the occasional hobbyist.

This product simply does not turn on - I've received two units now and neither of them worked.The unit(s) were fully charged before attempting to power on and I followed all instructions.The unit simply will not turn on as per many other customer reviews stating similar issues - I would suggest looking for another model (which is what I'm doing now)

The number of attachments on this baby have made me spend my days thinking about other ways I can put this thing to work. What else do I need to sand or whittle down? Fun tool to use and incredibly versatile.
