My daughter is 4,5 years old. XS did not fit quite well. There was a little bit gap on chin area. She needs to wait 6 months. The material is really good quality.

We got this for my 9yo to learn to snorkel, but we all loved it!. No water could enter the mask when tightened correctly. It fit her, as well as me and my other older daughters. This is a perfect snorkel mask. The water was a little choppy when we went snorkeling in Key West, but not a drop entered the mask. It perfectly keeps the water out. I love that it is a full face mask, too, because it seems less claustrophobic. I am so glad we got it!

My husband and I bought these so our kids could learn to snorkel. It is a great idea and I wish it worked, but it doesn't.The kids immediately complained of water getting in, or sunscreen in their eyes (really just droplets of water sneaking in). We were in shallow water practicing and so they could stand up and empty the mask when it got water in.My husband, convinced they would be awesome if used properly, decided to do his research on how to properly use them. He followed the instruction to the letter. I didn't put them on my kids again, and I didn't wear one again. If you look at the risks (water getting in = drowning, co2 build-up = suffocation, ball getting stuck = suffocation... all pretty much lead to death, especially if you pass out in the water! And there are reports of this happening) it's just not worth it.So my husband goes out the next day and tries his. Within 10 minutes the ball gets stuck and he can't breathe. He was a competitive swimmer and a lifeguard so he's best equipped of any of us to deal with this, but it still scared the daylights out of him. Anyone who panicked, or wasn't a strong swimmer, could have died.THIS IS A DANGEROUS PRODUCT AND SHOULD NOT BE SOLD ON AMAZON OR ANYWHERE ELSE. Buy the good old-fashioned snorkel gear and realize that it, too, comes with risks, but substantially fewer than this piece of dangerous garbage.

Ok but hirts face

We aren't serious snorkelers, so trying to deal with two kids and teaching them to snorkel didn't seem practical during our trip in Maui. We got my 5 year old and 8 year old the x-small. They were able to put them on and go play in the water and see great. I am glad I went with these, they work great.

I bought this for my 7yr daughter to use. She had tried using the regular snorkel mask and just got frustrated and didnt even want to snorkel anymore. After trying this mask she loved it and we snorkeled for hours with it. It did take some time to get it to fit her face properly but after that she was off like a fish!

First let me say that I LOVE these full face snorkel masks. I have even purchased them as gifts for other adults. I decided to give it a try and purchased the XS size for my 4 year old. We tested this thing out twice in the bath tub. We were unable to get a good seal to stop the water from flowing in. This was no fault of the snorkel mask but that she was probably just too petite. What concerns me is how quickly the mask fills up with water. In literally ONE SECOND the entire mask was filled with water. I was able to remove it immediately but she had already inhaled the water and was essentially panicked and drowning inside this thing. She would have never been able to remove it herself. May I just suggest if you are looking to purchase this for a child perhaps consider it for an older child. Be sure to have trial runs before ever considering allowing your child to use this in the pool or ocean. Especially practice with your child on how to get the mask off themselves if the seal should ever break. The mask fill up almost completely instantaneously.

my daughter loves it. Good quality. fits on her face. No leaks. She is comforted by keeping her face dry. We took it on our cruise in March, it was perfect for the pool and the beach.

If you pictured oxygen as water for aliens, I presume aliens would come to earth wearing this. Mainly because it works, but also because it looks like some form of space suit accessory. My daughter doesn't comprehend airtight seals at the age of 5... so we have some playing around to do each time we swim, but I imagine we will figure that out. And if the seal breaks and fills up with water, your child needs to have the gumption to lift the thing off of their face, which temporarily feels like a scene from SAW. Regardless, who would pass up such a cool thing to snorkel with.

I bought these for my 5 & 7 year old grandchildren when we went to Mexico. They must mean older kids in the sizing. Haven’t used them yet

The problem with this mask is that it gets very foggy onse u using in the water. Whould not buy it again.
