Works Fast on Different Kinds of Ants
Works fast and on a variety of ants indoorsand outdoors! This rainy season we found ourselves with large red ants in the house and lots of other kinds of ants outside. We bought these so we could tackle both at the same time. We really didnt expect the success we got but the red ants were totally gone in less than 48 hours and the outdoor ants are also gone!! The traps are small and go unnoticed. We ended up buying 4 more packs to stock up in case they come back.

it works wonders!
This worked wonders! I placed it in a few spots, and within hours, the ants were gone. It's super easy to use and lasts a while. A must-have if you’re dealing with ant problems!

Finally! An ant trap that really works!
I tried so many types of non-spray ant killers. None worked until Combat. After our WV drought last summer, I was inundated with those pesky itty-bitty pests getting into everything. Now, I see ants, I put out these baits. They're gone in 2 days and don't come back for a while - until another explorer finds the dog food bowl or butter dish. And the dispensers don't spill out on the counter or while you're opening the unit. Amazon's price was better than local stores, too.

Worked great for sugar ants.
I purchased this to see if it could get rid of some pesky sugar ants that invade my bathroom periodically when we get heavy rains for a weeks or so. I usually use sugar and boric acid dissolved in warm water which works but usually takes upward of two weeks. I've tried Terro baits which work for a short period to attract ants but then they sidestep the baits and never seem to kill the entire colony. After placing several of these along the ant trails, they attracted lots of ants within the first two days. After that, the ants would come and gather in small groups along the trails and just sit there. After about a week and a 1/2, I disturbed the groups and they moved but not in their usual way. I ended up squishing them and wiping the trials. After that, I saw a few ants walking but it dwindled down to none. All in all about 2 weeks. They haven't returned. I would say this product worked great.Pros:1. Works well.2. The container is easy to handle without getting poison on your hands.Cons:1. You have to break a tab off to expose the poison to the ants. If you don't press it just right, it won't break cleanly.2. The gel inside dries up in about two weeks (which was OK since the ants were almost dead by then) but if you need to have it longer you may have issues.3. You can't find it in stores so you have to order online.I would purchase gain.

Most of the bait stations are unusable, but the active ingredient works well for sugar ants
Three of the bait stations broke off in the wrong place, rendering them unusable. Please find a better way to activate these stations because I can only use one of them. Will have to find a different brand.Update: I’m revising my original review from one star to three stars. While three of them broke in the wrong place as mentioned above, the one that broke correctly worked really well. So I decided to move the one bait station around the house to take care of all the ant colonies. Bottom line, it works, but COMBAT: please fix your bait stations so they can all be used. For customers like me, maybe it would be best to buy Fipronil and use empty bait stations that you fill yourself.NOTE: These work well for sugar ants. They may not work for all types of ants.

easy to use, really work fast & well!
These work! I think it's the liquid bait the ants like. I put these out and within 2 days the ants were gone.Very easy to use. Supposed to be safe for pets, and my cat couldn't care less and didn't bother them.

LOOK NO FURTHER! This is the answer to your ant invasion.
I bought this last year and it worked like a charm. So when the ant invasion began I looked at my local market and Target for these but only found the white little ant traps and I bought those first. NOPE! The ants don't even go in those at all. They walk around them. With this product the ants die even as they're walking away. I wish they would sell these in a single pod. These are double with the liquid and solid chambers. But, I've never noticed ants going in for the solid bait. They are instantly attracted to the gel. I've been putting these in the kitchen, bedroom and restroom. They last for about 1-2 months and then the gel seems to dry up.Easy to use, you just need to pop off the plastic part. I put the plastic pod on the edge of the kitchen table so that I can break it off. You do need to push pretty hard if you're a lady.

Average
The Combat Max 2-in-1 Ant Bait Station (4‑count) does a decent job attracting ants and begins reducing activity within a few days. The dual-action formula is a smart idea and seems to work for smaller infestations. However, the bait stations themselves feel rather flimsy and the plastic lids can be difficult to open and close without some effort. They also may get knocked over easily if placed in high-traffic areas. While they did help, I had to replace them more frequently than I’d expect for the price.Overall, these work okay and can be part of your pest control setup, but there are sturdier, more convenient options out there.
