As someone with vit D that fluctuates between just over and just under the NHS floor level, 4,000 iu/100 ug is the perfect dose for me. Put it into a tasty orange gummy in a large jar for a good price and it's an absolute winner.They are vegetarian which is an absolute must for me and are made in the UK which is a plus.Whilst I seek out this level pf supplement the NHS advises most people should take only 400iu/10ug per day and cautions that taking more than 4,000 iu/ 100ug can cause hypercalcaemia (build up of calcium) which can weaken the bones and damage the kidneys and heart.Children aged 1 to 10 years should not exceed 2,000 iu/ 50 ug per day and infants 1,000 iu/ 25 ug. For this reason, given the sweet like qualities of the gummy it is imperative that children cannot access the jar.The jar lasts 5 months at one gummy per day and has a 2 year use by date.If you're looking for the NHS max daily supplement dose you can't go wrong with these.

Item received in a big strong plastic tub in good condition.These are a one per day large gummy that taste wonderful, very orangey in flavour and colour. They can be sucked or chewed and you get 150 gummies per tub.The size of them is about the size of a 5p coin but much thicker. They seem a really good quality and all well formed and packed full of Vitamin D3 goodness.

It can be difficult to find high strength Vitamin D3 so I was really pleased to be offered these 4000iu supplements in gummy form. For £13.95, you get a 5 month supply (one a day). They have a pleasant orange flavour and are easy to take as you don’t need water, just eat like a sweet! I also find larger pills trigger my gag reflex, so that’s another good reason I now prefer to take as much as I can in gummy form. Very pleased with these and will look for them again in 5 months time!

I have recently become a fan of gummy vitamins, but it’s hard to find Vitamin D ones, and this is so useful for immune health. A good high dose in a sweet tasty gummy. Admittedly, sugars are the first ingredients, so purists may want to avoid. But if it persuades my daughter to take her vitamins then I count that as a win.

There are 150 gummies in this Vitamin D3 supplement. The recommended dosage is 1 per day giving nearly 5 months supply. I tried but could not make out the expiry date (the last digit of the year I could not make out) but would assume it is at least 11 months from date of delivery (see photo) based on the month.The supplement conainer is a fairly standard clear recyclable container that is 5.25 inches high (13cm) and 2.9 inches wide (7.2cm). When opening the container and holding the open container to the nose there is not really any sort of smell from the gummies.The gummies themselves are pleasing to eat with an orange flavour and leaving a pleasant orange aftertaste. They have no discernible smell. The gummies are made in the UK to GMP standards. The product is suitable for vegetarians and is lactose and gluten free.I have been taking vitamin D3 for some time under advisement of doctors and this is a pleasant way of taking it. The price is good given the sheer duration of the supply and the strength of vitamin D3 in the supplement. My only quibble is that this is another supplement that uses real rather than artificial sugars. In fact the first two ingredients on the list Glucose Syrup and Sugar are the first two ingredients on the list. Normally ingredients are listed based on the largest constituent parts first, which would indicate that these are primary ingredients. It also does not state calories or nutrition so I do not know how much sugar is in these. That is the reason for my rating of 3 rather than 5 stars.

These orange flavoured gummies are lovely and do not have a sickly, artificial taste to them either. They are approx 1cm in diameter and easy to chew on and swallow.They come in a large plastic container with 150 gummies in them.Delicious!
