Not high quality
I used this to wire up a 49 Chevy 3100 and I got what I paid for. The price is cheap but so is the harness. The flashers barely stay in and may fall out on rough roads. The fuses don't go in solid either. Dark blue wires with black printing that is impossible to read and no listing in the instructions as to what color is for what. The gauge of the wire is lighter than I would like on some of the circuits and it does not come with relays for the headlights but it does for the horn. There is very little info in the instructions so you have to know pretty well what you are doing. Next time I will spend the money on a better quality harness.

A high quality product at a great price
I work part-time at a local auto restoration and hotrod shop. We completely wire three or four cars a year, using wiring kits from one or the other of the well-known major suppliers in this field. Consequently, I am familiar with their products.l ordered the ROADGIVE kit to review its quality, and if it met our standards, to install on one of the hotrods that is currently in the shop. I’ll note that the ROADGIVE kit is significantly less expensive than similar kits from the major manufacturers, so I expected quality to be inferior. This is not the case. Upon thorough inspection by myself and my shop partner, we concluded that the quality of the ROADGIVE kit is very comparable to the well-known, name brand kits. Wires are properly color-coded with labels printed on each wire every five feet. Connectors appear well-made and are appropriate for our intended application. I’ll note that this kit uses GM-style connectors, which are correct for aftermarket steering columns from suppliers such as Ididit snd Flaming River. For projects such as wiring a car, thorough instructions are critical. It felt like a miracle to discover that the ROADGIVE kit instructions are not clumsily translated from some foreign language. Rather, the ROADGIVE instructions appear to be written by a native English speaker. They are clear, concise, and intelligently written. The drawings are well done, though it would be great if the circuit diagrams were printed in color. One discussion the instructions avoids is a listing of tools you will need to complete your project. This list includes at a minimum one or more high-quality crimping tools. Please don’t try to do this job the common, cheap, plier-style crimpers. Spend some money and get good crimpers. You’ll also need a wire stripper, an ohm meter, a continuity test light, and perhaps a heat gun for heat shrink tubing.Note that I have not actually installed this kit yet, our project is not ready for that step. But we are confident the ROADGIVE 21 circuit wiring kit is up to the job, It is comparable to the expensive name brands (might have been made in the same factory?) and we anticipate no more than the usual hassles in completing the installation. That having been said, (and despite encouraging words in the instructions), wiring or rewiring a car is not a trivial project. If you’ve never previously undertaken automotive electrical work, I suggest obtaining a tutorial manual (readily available from Amazon) and reading through it before you begin. Do not think this project will be quick to complete, don’t try it without a good selection of tools, don’t undertake this in the driveway. Be prepared for tasks related to the wiring to crop up, like taking the seats out of the car to allow you to work behind the dashboard. Got those seats out? Look at all the rust on those seat tracks! Now is the time to clean that up, and repaint the hardware. Oh, there went another weekend. In summary, the ROADGIVE wiring kit is a quality product that appears to be very comparable to industry standard brands. It is sold at roughly 1/3 the price of the name brands. Spend your savings on some good wiring tools and an auto electrical technical guide, and you are on the road to success.

Not great!
Bought this based on reviews. Two big issues. Flashers do not stay in. Very lose. Will probably have to tie in somehow. One flasher was bad. Connectors on the end of wires (where they attach to fuse block) were all lose. Not made well. Wire was good.

Essential for custom rewiring jobs.
These kits have to be made in the same factory as the higher dollar brand name (speedway) version. They are identical. They all are excellent quality wires, relays, fuse box, fuses, etc that match most older GMs perfectly.I used this one on an A-body (chevelle) with incredible results. Everything is nice and clean and works perfectly. The instructions are crap. To be fair, the instructions on all of these kits are crap. They show general wiring styles but nothing specific, which is expected since you can use them on multiple makes and models.I would really like to see a wiring schematic- something that shows where every wire goes in the fuse box, then out to the load or power source. I've searched the innerwebs for one but no one seems to make it. I recommend tracing the wires yourself before installing it an marking source and load where necessary. It's not an easy job to rewire a whole car, but with this kit I did it in about 3 days. Everything is nice and tidy and labeled all along the wire so I can still make sense of things if I go back to fix something later on.I highly recommend this kit since it's much less expensive than other brands but is the exact same quality.
