Works perfectly fine

I took out a salamander pump that cost me over 120 pound this wee pump is great really powerful works as soon as the tap is turned on it runs on for 10 20 seconds before the pump stops however as soon as you turn the tap off the water stops it is a wee bit noisy but no more so than the more expensive salamander pump really great value easily fitted very safe 12v transformer and it works at really high temperature

I am quite surprised at this little pump to replace my old failed oneI have fitted it near my hot tank using a supply for the immersion heater to boost hot water in a Bungalow It will supply 2 taps turned on quite well. Also boosts the shower to a workable pressure. The supplied short 6-inch push-fit hose was not long enough for my installation. had to buy 2, 500mm flexible hoses from Wickes but you may need 1000mm. Only been going for a few days but OK at the moment.

This is actually better than I had hoped for, I bought it to increase the pressure of an old gravity fed system in our apartment as it wasn't enough to run an electric shower but with the booster pump it works and exceeds expectations interms of how much water it can send tonthe shower unit.I did notice that there were a few complaints about noise before I bought it but upon installing I noticed that's mostly to do with the surface you're mounting it to - putting 1cm rubber grommets on the screws brought the noise levels right down to more than acceptable levels.A pro tip I'd give for anyone concerned about reliability is to install it lower than the inlet you're using to feed water to it - that will ensure there's always water in the pump and greatly i.prove the chances of a long life (most pumps breakdown because they've been run without water in them which damages them).

Hooked it up to hot water flow for new kitchen tap,slightly noisey when working but you hardly notice it when the water is flowing will run for about 6 seconds when you turn the tap off.Happy with what we needed it for.

Had the pump plumbed into our shower to try an get a better flow rate. We had 4 litres per minute and as this unit says its 32l minute I thought it should be better. Nope all it does is squeal away when the water is on. In fact it seems better when the pump is not on. Very dissatisfied.
