I actually love the thick quality leather - thicker like an expensive suitcase. Only one flaw. The latch to close the purse comes undone repeatedly which is not a good thing. The metal close hook should have been thicker. So, since I love the purse I cut a piece of that narrow shiny black tape (electrical tape?) and wrapped it over the metal hook to make it a tighter fit. I had to try twice to get the right thickness but it worked perfectly. Now if that tape was bronze like the hook it would have been perfect, but it is black. It is not noticeable at all, so no biggy. Worth keeping such an excellent purse. It is tight (because the leather is so thick which is a good thing) as far as what you can put in it but I managed to get all essentials in there. The strap is super long so I poked an extra hole farther down on the strap to make it the appropriate length (I wear it across my chest so it doesn't slip off - that has happened to me before and I have lost my purse off my shoulders in the dairy department of Fry's and luckily someone turned it in - whew!). I put a brass thingy into the new hole to secure the strap together since it is so long but it worked perfectly. I really love this purse so my improvements were awesome. Maybe you can incorporate some of them in the future. Thanks, DonnaSince this last review the tape did not stay on and then the clasp broke off. Now there is no chance that it will stay closed. That is the only bad design. Such a great thick quality purse but what is the good of a purse if it is not secure? I returned the purse but sure wish I could reorder and get a new one with a secure latch that keeps the purse secure.

I purchased 2 of these bags. I really love them. One (a gift) was slightly lighter in color then the other but both look fantastic. I had an issue with the stiches on one. Customer service was amazing! Prompt , polite and resolves my issue.The material is nice quality and no "off" smell like others reviewed. It smells like leather. It is also light in weight. Most leather bags I've owned are sooo heavy and unpleasant to carry for a long time on my shoulder. I have a pre-existing neck injury and weight is important I have no issues with this bag.I was shopping for a nice hobo, crossbody bag that could be used for anything and got it. This is a great purchase and I recommend it!

I love this bag! I don’t usually carry a purse, so this smaller size is perfect for me. You can fit plenty, it has enough pockets to satisfy and it looks just like the picture! Great price too for a leather bag. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the dead animal smell, and well...it’s leather. The smell will fade, and the stiffness will go away over time. I have no complaints. I’m 5’10” and have the strap hooked on the last hole; the bag sits at my hip, so I’d say the strap is plenty long enough if you’re worried about that. If you’re much shorter, punching holes to shorten the strap would be easy. Shipping was very fast - ordered Friday or Saturday night and it came on Wednesday. Overall great purchase, will buy from seller again!

I like this bag, but it has issues. First and foremost, the strap seemed to be attached backward. So instead of the buckle falling in front as it should, it falls almost over the back of the shoulder. But the bag itself is exactly what I wanted, so I'll take it to a leather shop and have it properly attached. It does make a statement about "quality control", though. This leather will need to be treated with a leather conditioner, but outside of that, I find the bag to be satisfactory. I've not had a problem with the latch.

I wish the width of the purse would be a little wider and the strap is a little bit longer. I'm 5'5 for crossbody bag I have to use the last hole! Other than that it's a nice product.

I purchased for a Christmas gift and aired out in the garage for two weeks. Gave it to my daughter and she aired it for another two weeks. Now the smell is gone and it works well. You will not be able to take it out of the package and use it.

First and foremost, the purse that I received it nothing like the purse that's pictured, the purse I received has a latch on the front not the look of the one picture and the purse pictured, has a zipper on the back, well the one I received don't have either, other than the major FLAW, it's a well made handbag, that I may learn to love, but the description is very misleading. Other than this major FLAW, it is a very well made handbag, that will last for years.

This bag is just the right size for carrying my wallet, smartphone, glasses and keys. Another plus is that it is surprisingly light for a leather bag, as someone else has mentioned. It DID have a rather strong odour (but not unpleasant) when I took it out of the package. I'm airing it in the basement now, hoping the smell will dissipate before long. Overall, I couldn't be happier.
