These would've been perfect for my halloween costume but I couldn't wear them due to them not being able to zip (even slightly) around my calves (they measure about 14 inches around).As far as accuracy regarding foot size I'd say it's true to size.

These are gorgeous. Matches the pictures. A little bit tight around the calves. I wear 5.5-6 and ordered a size 6. Fit nicely. Easy to walk in.

These are for my wife, she wears them for her Batgirl costume. She's had two pair thus far, but the first pair were very durable surprisingly enough. They held up for about a year, wearing them 2 times a month on average for charity events. Sometimes for an hour, sometimes for 4 or 5 hours. They held up pretty well, they did get dinks, scuffs, and wear as they got more wear, but they held up about 9 months before a heel plate cracked through while walking on rocks, she continued to wear them with no heel pad and they were fine, until a about 2 months after that the shoe started pulling away from the sole on the front and side of one of the boots. So overall, for the price these boots are actually really long lasting for the amount of use and punishment they went through.She did mention that the size of the foot was a touch small, she has wider feet so them being a little smaller was noticeable, and she mentioned that the calves are narrow. She went a size bigger then she originally ordered because the calf fit better. There is a little stretch to the material but not a ton. She also noticed, because we had to do some returning to get a correct size she could wear regularly and comfortably, but she mentioned one pair pinched her big toe on just one foot when she walked, we exchanged that pair for a new pair of the same size and color and she no longer had that problem, so if you run into that issue, I would say return them and get another pair, not all pairs seem to be created equal. Some may have some small defect/fitting issues. So try again, if one size is too small or pinches a bit in the toe.Overall, I'm impressed with how these hold up, especially for the money. They look great and according to my wife they are fairly comfortable, but if you get a size slightly bigger then normal you can add a shoe support pad and they are even better as far as comfort.

I purchased these boots for a costume. The fit is great, lots of room in the toe box and the heel is solid- perfect for walking around in. They are a great low cost costume boot. I will wear these for several superhero appearances at children's hospitals and events, so more than just one Halloween night. I would give them 5 stars but these are 'disposable' in my mind- they scuff and it's really hard to get them looking Hero-perfect after they have been damaged. With that, you can rough up the finish and spray them with NuLife to refinish them- no need to throw away. I just believe a 5 star rating is for truly outstanding products that last.At the largest, my calfs are 16" around, I'm a cyclists and have huge leg muscles. The opening to these boots is listed at 13". Here is how I got my boots to fit:1. Put boots on. Zip them up as far as you can go without tugging- you will rip the fabric if you try to force it!2. Get your blow dryer and set it to hot. Start gently warming up the fabric all around the boot. Don't burn yourself and watch out for the zipper- it gets hot!3. Working an inch at a time, alternate between zipping up the boots and warming up the fabric all the way around the calf.4. Let the boots cool down on your legs. Walk around in them for a bit. Depending on how much you are stretching out the vinyl, you may have to use the hair dryer trick the 2nd time to get them on.I can not stress enough to use a hair dryer, not a heat gun. If you get the fabric too hot, you will burn yourself AND melt the vinyl.

I love the boots, they’re for a Halloween costume. They came in good shape. After reading all the reviews I bought a size 8 and a size 9. I am typically a size 8 and that fit me well but was too tight over the calf and I couldn’t zip up all the way which was everybody else’s complaint. I sized up to the 9, and though it’s a bit loose in the foot, it just fits over the calf with compression socks.

I bought these boots to go with a full body suit I would be wearing to a sporting event. I knew that I would be on my feet all day for two days straight so I needed something comfortable that also added a few inches of height (so I could be taller in pictures with my tall friends). The wide, square toe box is what sold me on this style. It may not be the sexiest design since the wide toe gives a slightly clunkier look BUT the shiny red color and "painted on" look the tight calf gives make up for that.I wore these for two days which included miles of walking, some jumping, stairs and uneven terrain. They kept my feet comfortable and my legs only overheated a little bit while standing in the blazing sun for an extended amount of time.The biggest downside and the reason I am giving three stars is because of the scuff factor. The black soles of these boots scuff the insides of the boots with every single step. By the time the weekend was over the boots looked like they were very old. As if they had been worn through many holiday parties and poorly cared for.The only way to prevent the scuffing would be to walk like a dude, but even more exaggerated. Kind of defeats the purpose of being sexy, doesn't it. Instead I just model strutted like usual and dealt with the scuffs. I was careful to not sit or stand in a way that showed off the inward facing sides of the boots for this reason. I was wearing a skin tight, sheer body suit with these boots and the scuff marks are the only thing that made me self-conscious... if that says anything about how bad the scuffs were. I will try to add a picture later.Also, I have rather normal sized calves. I'm thin and my calves aren't very big. I'm athletic but I've never had trouble with boots being too tight. These boots were ALMOST too tight at first. They did loosen up after wearing them for a few hours.

Comfortable roomy and fit perfect

Pros - These boots look absolutely fabulous and the construction seems pretty solid. The lining is definitely warm as advertised and the heel is quite comfortable considering I don't typically wear higher than 2 inches for casual shoes. I'll be keeping them as they look very flattering with a decent height on the calf.Cons - the sole is a bit pathetic. If grip is important to you you might want to look elsewhere as it's basically smooth with a few barely-there grooves.Fit - shoe size was accurate to a UK 5. The zip zipped up all the way with little resistance but the boots are definitely tight at the top part of the zip. I don't have particularly thick calves for my height (about 15" circumference at the widest point) but I will be trying the hairdryer trick to give me a little more space. At the moment I would not be able to squat in the boots as there is no room for the muscle to change shape. I could wear these with tights but not jeans, but they feel comfortable enough for normal movement despite being tight.

Die Schuhgröße fällt genau richtig aus. Viele Kunden haben den engen Schaft bemängelt. Mir passt er gut, er liegt auch nicht ganz eng an. Zu locker sollte er ja auch nicht sitzen, sonst rutscht er runter, da das Material wenig steif ist. Wenn man eine Hosengröße kleiner gleich 38 hat, sollte der Schaft weit genug sein. Ich habe sonst eher das Problem bei engen Leggings, dass die Unterschenkel zu eng sind.Am Fuß sieht der Stiefel gut aus. Man kann normal mit ihm Laufen. Wobei ich aber nicht so gut finde, dass die Zehenspitzen des Stiefels etwas noch oben zeigen. Der Stiefel ist auch gut für breitere Füße geeignet. Die Plastiksohle ist hart und steif - das könnte besser sein.Zum reduzierten Preis ist der Stiefel ganz nett; zum teuren Preis (über 50 €) hätte ich den Stiefel wohl nicht gekauft. Es ist zwar ein Markenstiefel von Pleaser bzw. Funtasma, aber es bleibt dennoch ein Kostümstiefel, der in Amerika längst nicht zu so hohen Neupreisen angeboten wird.

A bit expensive for “costume”boots. However probably paying more paid off. Comfortable -wore the whole night. I wear an eight mostly always and ordered an eight. Fit great. Wore a regular sock - no complaints by me and lots of compliments from my party friends

Die Stiefel wurden sehr schnell geliefert und passen so gerade eben ... :-) Nach den anderen Bewertungen war ich sehr skeptisch, ob mir die Stiefel wohl auch zu eng sind, da ich auch nicht sooo schlanke Waden habe. Vom Fuß her passen die Stiefel perfekt (ich trage sonst Gr. 38), an den Waden sind diese Stiefel aber tatsächlich sehr eng! Ich habe eine Weile gebraucht, bis ich den Reißverschluss ganz schließen konnte! Aber es hat geklappt! Auf den ersten Eindruck ist der Stiefel recht bequem, der enge Schaft hat auch nicht gedrückt (nachdem er dann endlich zu war). Bin gespannt, ob sich der erste Eindruck hält, wenn ich die Stiefel längere Zeit an habe ... :-) Bis hierhin aber auf jeden Fall vier Sterne, da die Stiefel sehr hübsch aussehen, eine super-kräftige Farbe haben und recht bequem wirken!
