Not tempered glass but nearly all the glass ones affect touch sensitivity on the S8 due to the curved screen (unless you spend stupid money on a protector). This film protector curves around the back of the phone, meaning cases cannot lift it from the edges. You get 2 protectors, 1 wet wipe, 1 cloth, 1 small squeegee, 3 dust stickers and some basic instructions in the box. A second wet wipe would have been nice but any alcohol wipe will do the same job.Aligning the protector is a little tricky since it has to wrap around the physical buttons but not that difficult if you take your time. Wrap the cloth around the squeegee and get the larger bubbles out, then fold the sides down to wrap around the back of the phone. The smaller bubbles will disappear in 24 to 48 hours. Don't waste your time trying to get every single little bubble out as they will go by themselves and you will probably end up damaging the protector if you squeegee too hard.A second protector in the box is a nice addition as I was careless and got some dust stuck onto the first protector. I left a mark on the adhesive while trying to get it off and it can be clearly seen on the phone now that it's applied. It annoys me since I know it is there but still keep trying to wipe it off so the second protector will be used at some point soon.

I am used to those clear films that you hardly can feel or see. This is a bit 'bouncy', you feel the depth of the film. I does not cause too much headache but it is definitely "feelable". It is a bit more complicated to apply as you need to make sure that the 3 side buttons are matched beside the top section cutouts. I think it would be better if it would not follow all 5 though even 3 curves would be enough on the top - that is the only point where I did manage to have a bubble that does not disappear, have to say it annoys me ever time I look at my phone, but not as much as to try to use the 2nd one ;)I got minimal bubbles and they did disappear within hours, they only come back when I put my phone into a running belt and the humidity goes into it, they disappear again as soon as it 'dries out'.I recommend it, I am not 100% sure yet but I think this is really scratch proof (due to its "bouncing" quality) and I like the fact it is truly case friendly too!

Bought this thinking it would go well with the rinke case I bought (rinke fusion clear crystal), case is great and with 2 screen protectors in this pack if one goes wrong I can always use the second - right. First one went on fine, was waiting for my phones new connection so left it for 3 days before using it and all seemed well, until I put the case on, then it started to lift the sides of the screen protector up, the matter only got worse in my pocket, its almost like it has a little bit of grip or maybe just a little resistance to the screen, cleaned it but it always seem that little bit tacky, so putting it in and out of my pocket left the top parts peeling back until it was an eyesore.So #2 - followed the instructions like the 1st one except it seems the peel labels were back to front, I noticed before I started peeling anything because the holes for the buttons were the wrong way round, there is only one way this can be fitted so I am sure at this point Im not missing something, but tab 1 is not right, will it peel off on the screen side - no, this resulted in the facing side getting peeled with or before the screen side just to get the screen side unstuck, total distaster and a horrible fitting with creases in, only thing to note is that it doesnt feel tacky like the first one, maybe I got a dodgy set but not pleased at all, less than 2 months out of them.

I have used this brand on my Samsung S7, S8, S9, and I will be ordering for my S10.You have to take your time and a good amount of care when applying these, as rushing will result in a damaged screen protector or bubbles.These are a much better alternative to the wet application screen protectors and the hard screen protectors, which seem to have little to no adhesive on them.The only negative is the protector can bubble/lift a bit on the sides when the phone is placed in a case - I would recommend putting the phone in from the left side down first and then lift the right side of the case over the right hand side of the phone.

Bought this and a Ringke slim case the same day as my S8. After only having fitted tempered glass screens for the last couple of phones this was shall we say interesting.Waited until I was ready to fit this before I removed the plastic that comes on a new phone, and got the bathroom nice and steamy to settle down any dust. Lining the protector up took a little time but once done and fitted it looked horrible with bubbles everywhere. A bit of time squeezing them out left the phone looking like a spotty teenager and I wondered if I would have to have another go with the 2nd protector.Good news though as leaving it overnight has left it bubble free.Only 4 stars though as I would be very surprised if I get problems later with the top edge of the protector as to make the sides fit the buttons properly means the top edge is very close to the top bezel.

The fit is excellent but application isn't very easy.Microfibre cloth isn't microfibre therefor lots of dust came on to my screen when wiping with it so getting the screen completely dust free took sometime with blowing and using the supplied stickers to remove them.after that i noticed like mist/frost like effect through the protector. It claims to be ultra clear but it isn't for me.I wasted 1st one due to when taking film 1 off, 3 came off together so i struggled applying and used the second one to get it on perfect.And I didn't like the frosted/mist effect it left and not so smooth surface (like invisible shield orange peel effect).Told Amazon I wasn't too happy and they gave my money back. So overall not bad. Just need to find another one that would work for me now.If the mist/frost effect and orange peel texture doesn't bother you, this screen protector will do you good for its price and complete edge covering will ensure that the edges don't come off after long time and 100% compatibility with any case.Not sure if you can see it on the pictures.
