***UPDATE***After posting the below review with a 1-star rating, the seller contacted me and replaced the faulty headset with a new one. Since receiving the new headset, there has not been any issues and the sound is much better. We must've received a faulty device the first time. I would buy again from this seller as they stood behind the product and ensured that I was happy (well, I was happy because my son was thrilled to have a working headset again). I appreciate the vendors willingness to get this fixed for us.This headset just stopped working. Never dropped or abused. Stored nightly. Plugged it in 2 days ago and couldn't hear anything. Tried a second controller. Same thing. Of course I just missed the return window by 3 days. Never any crackling issues or anything. Just stopped working.

I am an adult gamer (30+) and I’ve been using this product for about a year now. In addition to gaming, I also have a large experience base (15 years) in audio engineering/recording, so I’m not completely inept when it comes to judging audio quality.For the cost, these headphones were VERY suprising. The range is fairly wide and it represents the ranges in great clarity for a gaming environment. The directional surround sound effects are extremely accurate, which is important, especially in online gaming where you need to hear where opposing teams/enemies are coming from.They fit very comfortably on my head, though a friend of mine (with the same pair) has complained that they squeeze near his temples...he may just have a comparatively large skull. I usually only wear these for about an hour, at most, but I have had no trouble with comfort.The mic distance is physically adjustable and has the signal has always been clear to my other players. We have tested between this and the standard headsets (with another player also using this headset) - this is a massive upgrade in clarity and compression.I can confirm through my own trials that, for the cost (and in some cases, more... yeah, I’m looking at you, Turtle Beach), you WILL NOT find a better headset than this.

Gave it five stars because for its price it is exceptional. I have been using it for months now and it has been good. The build quality is not comparable to other brands but I expected the build to not be good at all. I like how big the earpads are, my entire ear fits perfectly (if you have big ears I would think that this will fit you fine). It is not hard cushion and so my ears are fine even after playing for several hours. The sound is good for its price. I am not expecting an incredible sound from a sub 30 dollar headphone but it gets the job done. When the volume is all the way up the sound becomes glassy and broken but who plays on maximum volume anyways. I play with low to moderate volume and it is sufficient in my opinion. And lastly, the best thing I like about this headphone is that it is not heavy! Other headphones are heavy but with this one even after playing for several hours the top of my head doesn't hurt at all.PSI use this headphone with my PS4 and it does not quickly drain the controller batteries in my observation. I played 5-6 hours non stop a couple of times with the headphones.

I actually got this headset for my son to use with his gaming system. He actually uses it not only for his game, but on his PC (personal computer) when he chats with different people, and on his cell phone. I have used it myself during a phone conversation and the clarity of the conversation was very good. I was told that I was coming through to them very clear as well. The mic was adjustable so I could put it as close to my mouth as I wanted to. The cushion on the headset is very soft and comfortable and with the adjustable head strap it fits perfectly. The material is very flexible and it surprised me but I think that is what gives it that extra comfort because it makes it fit better, to me. We got the blue and black one and the colors are so cute. Once you connect the splitter it gives even more cord to maneuver around, and the plugs fit snuggly together.

I'm not a gamer, but I bought these for the ability to raise & lower the sound volume. You know how aggravating it can be to be watching a film & have it suddenly drop below your hearing level and you have to turn the sound up. Computers have a finite level, so no matter how loud you put the volume, you still can't hear, especially if there's noise nearby.What I love most about this headset, aside from being so comfortable!! is the ability to turn the sound louder or softer, depending on what's going on. I set my computer to a sound level and I can adjust the sound to what I need for the moment. The cord is long, too, so I don't feel restricted in movement.OH yeah...This is the coolest part. Well, this thing is actually plugged into a splitter so that at the end you have a plug for the sound and another plug for speaking. I use my headphones with my laptop and they get used A LOT. The laptop goes between my lap and a table beside my bed & sometimes I'm not as careful as I should be & the plug gets bent just enough to make it so you hear out of only one ear unless you fiddle with it. The splitter is actually a removable extension that can be unplugged from the main cord. If the part that goes into the computer gets bent, I haven't lost the headset - yet. I average about a year between headsets, so this may actually help me extend the life. I'm being more careful now, but knowing this is there helps ease my mind.I like this headset so much, I just may buy another set for my other laptop that I use for work! Highly recommend!
