If you prefer your Fate games with more crunch, then get Dresden Files Role Playing - based on Fate 3.0. If you want a slicker game with a lot of punch then this is for you.

which I think it's the best written of the Fate Core game books
Solidly printed book. Paper, ink, cover, and binding are all high quality.The contents are very well written. I would compare it to Fate: Atomic Robo, which I think it's the best written of the Fate Core game books. Clearly explains the rules, the world, and the characters.If you like Dresden, modern, and/or magic then you'll love this.

First world book built from the core/fae rules
It’s always inspiring from a game design aspect how the same core mechanics can be expressed ever so slightly different for varied expressions. I cannot express how it differs from the original Dresden files, especially the rules on evocation but this iteration seems to be fun. Now I just need to convince my group...

Fun abbreviated rules
For Dresden fans, the rule set is a delight to read if you have already read the latest case files as there are many nods to the series (much like the regular rule set). The rules are modeled after Fate Core Accelerated and are greatly simplified. For fans of urban fantasy that are new to table top RPGs this set is perfect. Might not be for you if you enjoy skill pyramids and long lists of stunt effects.

A great new version of the game.
I really loved the original Dresden Files RPG. The new version is far more streamlined and much faster to play. The mantle mechanic is fantastic and fits the setting well. There are a few small things I miss from the old edition, but I can always play that if I feel nostalgic. All in all a great update.

Exellent system that captures the magic of the books
If you have never played a tabletop RPG or want a good easy option for newcomer i would suggest this game.The system is really good for the Dresden Verse, be advised that it is up to date of Skin Game so hard hard hard spoilers are around the book.The book is writen as if Ivy wrote it ( the archive) so it is quiet fun.You don't have to have the other books but if you are buying in bundle i would suggest book 2 ( our world) and book 3 ( parapnet papers) to complement the setting

The book is smaller in size than what I expected from a gaming book. But it is no less exactly what I wanted.Amazon has been amazing with their shipping and delivery, right up to ringing the bell to notify contactless drop off.
