Bissell Little Green Pro Commercial Spot Cleaner BGSS1481

Q: What is the difference between this unit and bissell 3624

I’ve compared the specs on both machines and they appear the same. The 3624 is about ten dollars more and offers a 2 year warranty. The BGSS1481 is supposedly “commercial” rated, costs about ten dollars less but only offers a 1 year warranty. Makes no sense to me. The BGSS1481 manual lists a replacements part number for the hose but the 3624 model doesn’t list replacement part number for the hose. My guess is they are the same. Reviewers usually complain that the hose splits near the cleaner head. Being able to easily replace it would be a good feature.

Q: is this a steam cleaner ?

No, the instructions are to use warm to hot water in the canister, but I always have the sameWater with the soap in it. It really is a great machine. The hose is its only negative. Do no have it in any other postion (other than rolled up to the machine) than straight. The hose cracks when it is "kinked" repatedly. It is not easy to fix/replace it. Great machine!
