We bought these to put on our dining room chair legs in order to protect our LVT floors. We tried the type that just stick on and they squished right off the side after a single use, because our chair legs rest on the floor at an angle. These are great, because they swivel to meet the floor squarely.Pros:1. Very easy to install. The directions include which drill bit to use and the design is intuitive. It only took about 10 minutes to install these on six dining room chairs.2. They do exactly what they are supposed to do: they swivel to sit flush on the floor and the padding protects our LVT. My husband and I both weigh over 200 pounds and there has not been a single scratch after installing these, even when sliding across the floor while seated.3. These are made to last. The pad is guaranteed not to come off, but if for some reason it did, you could just snap off the piece that has the pad attached and snap on a new one.4. They are subtle.5. Since there is a felt pad touching the floor, they are quiet when sliding and they move easily.Cons:1. The swivel joint is stiff, so you need to use your hands to move it into place before setting the chair down.

We have an old style kitchen table and chairs with legs that meet the floor at an angle. None of the Home Depot floor protectors would nail in at the right angle and the foam stick-on ones would come off almost immediately. These protectors did the trick - easy to install and do a great job of protecting the wood floor without feeling rickety. Great product. Wish I'd invented them!

I put these on my dining room chairs to protect a hardwood floor about 5 years ago. They have worked great. Just ordered more for some old stools for grandkids to use around the table. Easy to install and well made. The felt pads are rugged.

They are easy to apply but I have a stone tiled kitchen floor. The felt does not glide across the floor very well and they wear out quickly.

These could not be a better find. If you are like me and have Windsor chairs that are angled at the base, then you too have to replace the old rubber style felt cups every six months or so. Well no more! These were easy to install, with easy to follow directions. It took about 15 minutes for the entire job, which included bringing the chairs out to the garage and back. They are very sturdy and the chairs glide with easy. The only reason that I did not give them 5-Stars for durability, is that I just put them on. In the coming months I will update this review based on performance. I am sure that they will hold up as they appear solid and have quality felt pads. I highly recommend. **UPDATE (05-24-23) We have had these installed for two months now. We are just as pleased with them as when we put them on. Much nicer, much cleaner.

I ordered these to replace the version with felt pads, as the felt comes off eventually. These are doing the job and hopefully will last longer.

I have angled dining room chairs that didn't slide well on my urethaned hardwood floor. I tried every kind of felt slider and they wouldn't stay on, wore unevenly, or just ground on the floor. Finally, someone came up with these! They work beautifully! The chairs slide well and are quite silent.To install, put your electric screwdriver away or use it gingerly. Drill a hole and go slow to allow the screw to bite and not strip in the process. Perfect solution and awesome product!

We did drill a whole in the chair leg as other reviews suggested. Easy to install and so far working very well. We have had them for a few weeks now.

I purchased this particular product because of the swivel feature. The legs of my dining room chairs are on a slant, not straight up and down, and I read several reviews advising that the normal flat sliders don't work well on that style of leg. I these Gorilla sliders about a year ago and no issues so far. They are all still intact and protect the floors. Sure, they take a little more work to install than the stick-on flat style - I drilled a hole in each leg to screw the slider in - but it was well worth it. These are great.
