Obus Forme Combo Ergonomic Orthopedic Low Back Backrest and Contoured Seat Cushion - Back/Stress Pain Relieve -Black

I have a back injury as a result of military connected incident. I work and spend a lot of time driving and it’s one of those sprinter type vans with a cage in it. The seating is horrible and the Nissan version of the sprinter van put its chassis on an old 1850’s farm tractor frame and suspension. My point is without this seat I would not be able to work and that would be a finacial nightmare. I had one of these I used in my vehicles over the last 7 years and never occurred to me foam breakdown but I did get rid of the 7 year old one and bought a new one because foam Does break down and the original no longer supported my back, hips and torso. The seat and back combo on this item is perfect. While in a seated position the pelvis must be properly aligned and supported otherwise the base is off and the rests of the body is out of wack so to speak causing pain in the spinal cord and muscles.

I’ve used this in the past, just have a problem with the seat bottom breaking. Not like I’m a heavy person, 160lbs. I’m always very careful when I sit on it, but somehow it has broken

This works for me better than anything else I've tried over the years for my back. Wish the seat cushion was a bit thicker for my needs but it's OK. I use it in the car, on my beach chair, and any where else I know.i will have to sit for a long time. Pricey, but highly recommended.

Back is ok for lumbar support but the cushion is so rigid that it hurts my legs after a while. I removed the front part of the seat cushion but it still hurts the sides of my legs after sitting a few hours.

I have been using Obus Forme products for over 25 years. The difference is amazing. If I sit in a meeting for over 30 minutes my back is literally "killing me" yet when I use my Obus Forme I can sit for 2 - 3 hours and still feel great. I do not go anywhere without it. In fact this purchase was due to the fact I was coming to the US for an extended period of time but was so bogged down with luggage I only had room for my lumbar cushion. Read the information about the product carefully. With the back you never know what will fit or work. This product was uncomfortable and not for me. One of the reasons to buy through Amazon is the return policy.. WARNING!!!! THERE IS NO RETURN IF IT IS UNCOMFORTABLE OR A WRONG FIT FOR YOUR BACK ISSUE. AVOID UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND HAVING TO KEEP IT IF IT DOESN'T FIT OR WORK FOR YOUR BODY SHAPE!!!!!

I couldn't drive for more than 30 minutes without pain before this! With it, I've completed several 12 hour round trips alone and one 16 hour drive spread across two days. I still have some pain, but NOTHING like before. I wouldn't even have attempted this without the Obus. I have lower back, hip, butt bone and tailbone pain.it was excruciating without this. I hoped it would be bad so I could send it back, because it was so expensive, but it was worth every dime.

I like this cushion but I don't love it. It doesn't have enough cushion to actually help my sciatica and it's harder than I would have liked. I'm keeping it but I wouldn't buy it again.
