We have purchased 3 sets (packs of 4 boots) of Allweather Muttluks (size S or 4) for our 3 Boxer dogs in the past. From road trips through the desert, wet mountain terrain and on rocks... They are great, fair priced at $47 each set = (4 boots per set). Made strong, work well and easily fit. The Best! Now, 2 years later, the need for them has changed. Our Luna, who is now older has had a back injury causing her to drag her back legs a bit and slip on smooth surfaces. The boots now, need to have more traction to help her grip her traveling surface and protect her toes from carpet-burn and or sidewalk rash. So, we bought the Mud Monsters. Since they seem to be light weight, have a nice tread and we are familiar with and trust Muttluks...why not?Well, the measuring details are not the same, the price is a lot more AND, you only get 2 boots!! Not 4! I knew what I was doing. And knew what I was getting...but then the size S, or 4, didn't fit. So I have ordered 2 more sets, (of 2 boots each) one size S/M, or 5 as well as a M, or 6... just to make sure the size is right. I'm a bit bumbed about the experience this time round, knowing she NEEDS them. I feel we have been gouged on purchasing this product, so far. I hope one of the next orders fit her and work for her needs. Purchasing 3 sets when we only need 1 is a bit frustrating, especially when we have bought and used the Muttluks product before. Sizing and pricing should be consistent on what you get. Especially if you plan to have repeat customers. We will let you know when the others arrive. At least we can exchange them. At about $45 each set, it adds up...especially for 2 boots and not 4. Thank you.

Best dog shoe ever develop. Wish they would have done this long ago. Our Vizsla had a spinal injury in 2009 and her right hind foot was partially paralyzed so she drags that foot which lead to many bleeding nails. I have used the heavy duty Muttluks, but they do give out and holes appear, so I tried the Mud Monsters with the rubber bottom and they are excellent. The other boots would last her maybe a week with walking on pavement; I can get at least 3 weeks with this boot. Of course, I am only using 1 boot which brings up the question: why do they sale them in a package of 2 instead of 4???? Hello, do better than that.

My dog has been wearing Muttluks All Weather boots and they were finally starting to get worn out. I decided to try these lil beauties for my pup. They fit great and they're super bendy when he walks in them. This is the Nike Free of dog shoes. I highly recommend these to avid hiker dogs, for dogs with easily torn paw pads, for dogs who venture outside in the heat, for dogs who venture outside whatsoever, and for dogs with paws. Bottom line, they're awesome and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Keeps our Samoyed's feet clean & pretty dry (not completely waterproof, though). Easy to put on if your pet cooperates. With long haired dogs like Samoyeds, the fur accumulates in the Velcro and then does not hold very well; happily, you can remove the fur with a fine toothed comb pretty easily. We purchased these due to infection in toenail bed, after 3 mos treating with vet meds and infection kept coming back, and these boots really did the trick! The medicine was able to work and I'm sure keeping her feet dry as we walk 1-2 miles per day was the difference. Love these and will buy again. Our dog didn't like them at first, but got used to them in a couple of days.

My German Shepherd has degenerative myelopathy (DM). Both of his back legs drag and he occasionally walks on the tops of his feet. I've tried about 5 or 6 different booties and different manufacturers. Muttluks Mud Monsters work best for my dog because the rubber sole wraps up and over the top of the shoe. For this reason, they last longer than any other dog bootie I've tried. I use ShoeGoo to replace the rubber that gets scraped away during a walk and the shoes last even longer. I own 4 pairs and rotate them daily.For those buyers who wonder why only 2 shoes are included (instead of 4), I've read that dogs' front feet are a different size from the back feet and selling this way allows for a better fit.

Gave my dog blisters on his paw. They are rough on the inside so I would beware of getting these booties. There are plenty other out there that are better and less expensive.

My dog has four paws like most other dogs, and I thought I was getting 2 packs for a total of four boots. I will not order from this company again. Two pricey for only one pair of boots. If you are thinking about ordering these boots, just keep in mind they only send one pair of two, not two pairs of four total. Hoping I can send them back for a refund.

These are awesome, but now my dog shoes for running cost as much as mine do! You only get a set of two that is all you get, so you're animal has four paws and guess what you have to get two sets so you're going to spend $100.
