Works great, you have to use the QR code to download
Don't listen to the fools too stupid to down the app via the QR code in the English version of the instructions. Not only does the device easily pair, I also did a firmware update once you gave permission to the phone storage. It is extremely accurate and tested on my prize hibiscus because I know all the variables and this little guy matched almost perfectly. At good enough for what it is. I will buy more for other plants around the garden.

Works great! Easy to use and provide very detailed information
The Android App works great ("Flower Care" by Beijing HHCC Plant Technologoy Co., Ltd) in the USA on modern Android handsets with bluetooth in the USA. The app appears to be updated frequently and has an extensive library of plants. Bluetooth range is fantastic. App even prompted me for a firmware update on its first connection. I'm pleased to see continuous development both for the app and the product firmware.IMPORTANT: you do need to read the app prompts that guide you to manually change the Android app permissions to add Camera, Location (only when app is in use), and Storage. Most apps written for recent Android OS versions do this for you automatically, so I expect that those posting negative reviews simply had trouble with this process.Anyway, I highly recommend this product. In fact I'm here now posting this review while buying a second one :-) Enjoy!

Best plant monitor on the market. Tried 4 different ones, this ones the best.
This is my 4th plant monitor I have used. They all sucked beside this one. This is the best of them all. Instant feedback, easy to to use, worked perfectly. I was super impressed, tested adding water, adding nutrients, changing sunlight. This thing is amazing, bought two initially, buying two more. I use an iPhone. Even added the plant name, boom, all configured. I’m going to go buy more plants! I would love a WiFi remote feature, so I can water my plants remotely. :) awesome product.

Useful device
I bought this monitor to test out on a bonsai tree. It is a very useful indicator of when to water, but I have found that I still need to use a traditional moisture meter to double check because sometimes the one spot where this monitor is sitting will be dry but the overall pot is still moist. Also, if you are used to reading a moisture meter that goes from 0 to 10, keep in mind that the readings from this will be slightly different. When you've thoroughly watered it won't show 100, it'll show something more like 58 or 60, which is fine, but you need to know that when interpreting the results.I also saw reviews before I bought indicating that the app doesn't work on Android or wasn't available anymore. As of June 2020, I have not found that to be true. I am running Android version 10 and the app (Flower Care) installed and runs fine. It is a like buggy with connecting to the device sometimes. Usually closing the app and retrying a couple of times solves it.

Perfect way to easily monitor your plants
We bought a total of 7 of these and they have exceeded our expectations. Once they are set up all it takes is opening the app too see how your plants are doing. Moisture, fertility, sunlight and temperature all which are extremely important to make sure your plants are thriving. These are perfect and well worth the expense.

Loving it so far!
Ok, I love this so far! My issue is keeping rosemary alive in the winter indoors, so that toll be the test. This spring and summer, it’s been great to help sample all the plants and keep them all healthy. I’ll try and update my review when winter sets in.

Lo utilice inmediatamente de recibido en diversas plantas y pude comprobar que funcionaba muy bien.La App es fácil de usar y si no sabemos el nombre de la planta tiene una guía en función del tipo de hoja y otros datos que ayuda a ubicarla. También se puede armar una lista con sólo las plantas propias. La compre pensando más bien en controlar el riego y encontré que es muy útil para controlar la luz y la fertilización Todo fácilmenteMuy satisfecha con la compra
