Circular Saw Accessories

I was invited by Avid Power to purchase this to review with promise of purchase price to be refunded. However, that does not influence my review of this tool.I have had it about a week. When I received it I plugged it up to charge. I really am not sure how many hours it took it to reach full charge because I had to leave and did not get home until later in the day. They say it charges within four hours. I decided to see how long the charge would last on standby. I turned it on this morning after more than a week being charged to use on my dogs nails and it still had plenty of power. My dogs did not seem to be disturbed by the sound of the tool. I thought it was very comfortable to hold in my hand. It has a light that puts a little light on what you are working on which I found helpful. I really think it is a fantastic tool for what I will be using it for. I think this will work great at the grooming shop I work at to do dogs nails there.UPDATE 1/21/20: I'm sorry to say, as much as I loved this tool for doing my dogs nails, I tried to use the cutting tool on it. I turned power up all the way and it was very powerful. The battery ran out on me so I put it on the charger to recharge. I checked on it after about 4 hours and then every few hours after that, left it charging all night and checked it this morning. It will not turn on. So, I revised my rating from 5 star to 3 stars. Perhaps if you are just wanting to use for something lightweight it may work great for you. I'm very disappointed it has quit working!UPDATE 1/23/2020: Customer service for this product is amazing. They reached out to me by email and sent a replacement promptly.UPDATE 1/24/2020: I'm sorry to say, this one has died too. I was using a cutting wheel on it to try to remove a plastic nut on a bolt that holds the seat on the toilet that can't be removed. I thought if I could get the plastic nut off then I'd be able to remove the bolt. I used it a few seconds on and few seconds off, not a constant contact with it, but it froze up and died. It had a full charge on it and I was using it on high speed. I guess I should have stuck with just using it for my dogs' nails. :(

I did nine out of 18 dog nails (including dewclaws) and the sanding band kept slipping up and off. the drum I tightened the tiny Philips head screw at the top, but it didn't work. The grinder then sounded like the batter was wearing down and the lights went off (it had been fully charged), so I put it in the charging dock and soon had all four blue lights. Now, when I went to finish dog nails, it won't even turn on. It is broken? What do I do???? And yes, I held the ON button for over two seconds. PLEASE HELP!!!!! Or I will return and buy a Dremel.UPDATE: Kudos to the mfg. for sending me a replacement at no charge.HOWEVER, the SANDING DRUM is missing! The reason I bought this in the first place was to grind dog toenails with the sanding bands! However, it DID turn on, but it's not usable for me. Alas. Shall I send this back, or can you send me the sanding drum?UPDATE 2: The mfg. send me the ENTIRE ACCESSORY KIT at no charge. I was overjoyed to find the sanding drum I needed included. Five stars for customer service. Overall 4 stars because of the aggravation. They could save a lot of $$ with better quality control however. Thank you. I am hapopy

The one thing I didn't like about this product is it's easily broken. When it is set on the highest speedsetting it's pretty loud and if you put the wrong attachment on it i.e.a saw blade it does not have enough power to cut very quickly and will bog down do not turn it on the highest speed setting is it will cuz the unit to fail. It is definitely a light-duty tool so treat it as such and it should be okay. They charging station is nice because you can unplug the adapter and plug it into the bottom of the rotary tool or you can plug it into the docking station. I ended up repairing it because it had shaken the battery connection loose.

My biggest problem with this Rotary tool is that the sand paper really doesn’t stay on very well and if you’re using it as a Dremel which I was for nails on dogs it comes off as very inconvenient times if there is a secret to keeping the sandpaper on I would love to know because I own a regular Dremel tool as well and never had this issue I just thought the battery powered one would be nicer.Also the tool makes a weird clicking noise on its own and we have taken it apart and put it back together three times to figure out where the clicking noise is coming from and I cannot figure out it sounds like something is not connecting rightUpdate: The company did reach out to me about the problem that I was having with the product and sent me a replacement free of charge the replacement works wonderful I’ve had no issues with it.I believe the first one had a recall on it or something like that

Great Tool for the price. it comes with a lot of accessories, which is cool, so that in the future if i need a specific type of Carving, Engraving, Sanding, Polishing and Cutting i will have the item on hand. what i liked most is how strong the grip is. the battery last pretty well, i charged it once, and have been using it couple times over the weeknds for a month now, and never charged it since the first full charge. The battery indicator is very helpful, unlike a drill i have where i can't really tell if i still have juice in it for the weeknd.Area of improvement:-it would be nice to be able to set the default speed , so that every-time we turn it on it goes to that default speed.-it would be nice if we could have the wrench attached to the rotary tool, maybe find an enclosure inside the rotary tool in order to avoid looking for the wrench every time we want to change the head.

I unpacked it and has been charging for 4 hours....last light still blinking. Removed it from the stand and it will not turn on. i tried everything with the switch and now spend my time and gas money to return. Do not purchase this product. 2nd Review: Ok, 1st and 2nd did not work, BUT their follow up was fast and excellent. They refunded my purchase and provided an upgraded model FOC. I have changed from 1 star to 4 star because of the after sales service.
