Pickup Truck Bed Tent, 5.5' Box Length with Front Awning for Camping

At first impression this tent was amazing however, the material and quality is extremely cheap. First off this item was sent in a used condition, had dirt and dust all over it. The screen windows were ripped and all the joints connected to the straps are extremely weak and poorly done. A couple were already ripping off.I read many reviews about the same complaints and still decided to take a chance but as you can see. It didnt work out.

Ordered the 5.5 tent for my truck and it fits perfectly. Came in quickly. Tent is very spacious!Tarp on the the bottom which is nice. Will post after a few trips.Read the instructions..I would suggest strapping up the tailgate straps during the beginning. Have someone place the one end of the post in the tent then work your end.Some people reviewed setting the tent up on the ground the moving to the bed.

Easy to install, Durable and Comfortable.This truck tent is awesome. I used it to attend a military reunion in Lakeland Florida on the weekend of the 9th of April. It was Comfortable and stayed dry with the rain cover.I say dry because we had a fast moving storm move through the area that had wind bursts the exceeded 40mph with a tornado that came close to touching down with hard rain coming in sideways. When it was all over there was only 2 tents left standing. Both vehicle tents. One on my truck and one on a Jeep. All of the other tents collapsed and became irreparably damaged.I watched as the wind practically folded this 10 over the side of my truck bed stressing the fiver assembly poles. When it was all over. They tent returned to its original shape and only needed minor adjustments with very little moisture that entered the interior due to vent windows being open.This tent is awesome and I would recommend it to family and friends.

I did like that it is fairly simple to assemble on the bed of the truck. It appears that it is well made with one glaring exception.... The slots where you ⚓ anchor the fiberglass poles are not sowed well and the one of the pole ripped right trough... 😞.... So I had to improvise and fix that.....

We put it together in the driveway so we would learn the routine before we used it. During that setup (which wasn't difficult) 1 pole pushed through it's pocket & 1 strapped ripped out of the seam! Very very poor quality sewing! We needed it for the weekend so luckily I own a sewing machine. I repaired the bad seams & reinforced the others. No actual fabric tore, just the seam stitching came apart. We will see how it goes now. I'll update after use. I'm actually hoping for a little rain to confirm its water proof.

WOW! Bought this tent and used it three weekends in a row. Its easy to set up and fits nicely in Rams bed. The first use our entry door pole snapped, I was able to gaf tape it and limp through the weekend with it. I contacted Off Roading through email when we got home that week. They requested a photo of the pole and location of where it went in the tent. They quickly sent out a replacement pole with NO hassle what so ever. The tent and poles are color coded so its soupe easy to set up. I have used it solo one time and it was not terrible to get in the bed on my own, much easier with my wife helping. I 100% recommend this to anyone thinking about a truck tent.

So far, we are really liking this tent!The attached picture shows it on our 2010 Toyota Tundra double cab with a 6.5" bed.I used it by myself the second time, as you can see from the picture, I had PLENTY of room for a cot and all of my "stuff".Some cool things about this tent:• instructions are sewn into the carrying bag - can't lose them• pieces are easy to identify and are color coded to match the pockets on tent 👍• the straps that attach down the sides of the truck have fabric sewn around the clips so they don't scratch the paint• bags for the poles, accessories, etc, are lined with heavy duty plastic• Love the windows, there are storage pouches inside and because it goes over the sides of the truck bed, you also have "shelves" to put things on• purchased this with a truck bed air mattress, fits perfectly with that as wellHelpful hints:• take the time to do a trial set up - takes about 30 mins but made the 2nd set up SO much easier• our truck has a roll up cover with rails that run the on top of the bed - we folded a towel over the end of the rails to protect the plastic of the tent sides.• we also have a heavy duty spray-in bed liner, we put a moving blanket in the bed before putting the tent in to prevent wear on the plastic.

I decided to do a test set up before my trip and one of my poles split under the pressure. The metal receptacle bent and split as well. This was only the one yellow pole. All others were fine. Overall I’m happy with the purchase, but I don’t know how to get a replacement bulb in time for my trip. Which explains the duct tape in the photos

Just a great buy. Honestly for the money, excellent product. Easy to assemble and even easier to take down. Comes with a nice duffle bag style bag to carry. Not heavy at all.And when you take it down it all actually fits back in its original duffle bag easily.

I measured the truck bed and it is the correct dimension but the tent is far too large for it. It's our fault that we can't return it. The box was put out for recycling. Now we have a tent that we can't use.

Nous sommes très satisfait de cette tente,facile et rapide à monter,nous avons eu un temps très pluvieux et nous avons rester au sec ,vraiment super je recommande
