Okay folks, this update should raise your eyebrows as it did ours....this seller read my review of this supposed “ Heath Product”. If you missed it originally, the old review is listed below. First, they kept referring to me as “Kacie” which was a problem b/c my name is on the review, the emails, and THE ORDER. They initially wanted to refund the cost and allow them to correct the problem. I definitely wanted them to make a safer product and asked if they were trying to contact Laurie or Kacie. I would not be able to discuss the item if they wanted someone named anything other than Laurie. The seller then contacted me four times telling me that they wanted to discuss the problems and refund a PORTION of the cost. They asked repeatedly that I pull down the review immediately, before they took any action. This was a bit hinky to me. I went online and reviewed their Google HX, which was not good. There seems to be an increase in the instability of this item in particular from this seller. There have been several injuries and no real resolutions. This factoid made the offer of cash to kill the review kind of creepy.. We have declined their offer, and choose to leave the review as it stands. I don’t fancy myself a journalist, but sometimes when things don’t pass the smell test, there’s a reason for it.’*********************** [ original review] This is both cruel and awful at the same time.The cruel bits are the facts that the product has no instructions, seems to be as cheaply made as possible while still having some mass and shape, and it doesn’t even completely penetrate the earlobes.The awful bit is that the projectile earring/ piercing implement shoves the metal halfway into the earlobe. The buyer is faced with having to either shove the metal through yourself or pull it out entirely and bleed quietly in the bathroom. Once attempted and failed, the victim, ( you) must begin to attempt to remove the earring from the grip of the useless gun. Allowing a rat to gnaw a hole into your ears would be less painful and distressing. The gun does not release the half in and half out stud while the gun hangs on the stud/open wound. Now you get to pull on the metal shaft to allow the gun to release the stud, which can only be accomplished by grabbing the earlobe wound and forcefully pulling it out.We committed to shoving it through ( Ouch). U do not need the gun to pierce anything when you have to push the stud in yourself. The gun is a great way to pierce primarily because it is fast, and properly made, you are basically done before your brain registers the wound. But it has to work from the outset.My assistant had to use the gun to see if it was operator error, despite us both having both medical and gun piercings between us. This has now been verified by her as NOT able to perform the only job it had...This is a seriously painful way to discover that your money has been wasted.The few good parts are the plastic case, and the exorbitant number of studs and backs.The additional negative feature is that once you have suffered the inhumanity, you cannot use the earrings provided.So the conclusion I came to is that the Super Cheap earrings that they provide in the order does not compensate for the torture of this weird item.The earrings DO, as stated in other reviewers notes, turn BLACK, irritate the wound, and despite Hibiclens and 70% rubbing alcohol used many times each day, your ears WILL GET INFECTED.So, if you have $20 or so that you don't need, please don't waste your time, money, and threshold for pain on this kit. Please send it to the Global Charity of your choice instead.

So I just got my gun today. I opened the convenient container the gun comes in, and my marker was broke and my mirror wasn’t attached. Not complaining because my biggest concern was the gun and the needles (piercing earrings). I used the gun to pierce the left side of my nose (right side was already pierced). The piercing was literally painless, the gun does misfire but you just have to focus when piercing! I gave it 4 stars because it did exactly what it was suppose to do and I impressed by the price in relation to the product.

The gun is great, works well and accurate. I pierced my ear cartilage twice with this and it did a great job both times. The gun itself is capable of many uses. I don't think I'll be needing all of the earrings that come with it but it's nice that there are so many. The marker, mirror and plastic case are a nice bonus.

Very cheap and detective. All those earings sent cheap and unnecessary should be sent with 2 or 3 better quality ones. Piercing gun also defective.

I was a little skeptical at first after reading the reviews but for 10 bucks I figured it was worth the risk. As always with prime my package arrived on time. As soon as I got it, I opened it, sterilized it and put it to work. 4 piercings in a few minutes went in with no problems. My wife and kids were happy and excited to all be getting new piercings together.

This arrived complete and fast. I didn't see any instructions but found a video on line. After sterilizing the gun, my ear, the stud and my hands I proceeded to insert the stud. It was fast and painless. No problem. Not sure what the fuss is about guns and piercing. I just needed to redo one that was always a problem.. All ways take care and keep things clean.

The gun was hard to aim to make sure it pierced straight in so the piercings we have used it for are a bit crooked, but the gun did work. The earrings I do not think are piercing grade metal as they turned black in our ears, but the gun worked, it pierced fast. The noise was a little loud right next to the ear, but, all in all, the gun did work. The only thing besides the metal of the earrings are the backs are rubber so sometimes they fall out and it's quite difficult to hold the gun straight so the earring does not fall out. Just be careful, replace the earrings ASAP and you should be good

The gun sometimes pierces all the way thru the ear lobe. Hurts when it doesn't. The earring gets stuck in the gun so u have to grab the back of the post so it comes out of the gun. No posts, just rubber backs for the earrings. Maybe it was mfg defect. Either way the seller was very accommodating and gave me a full refund. I would buy from this seller again
