100 Piece No.5 Brass Wood Screws 5/8" Flathead Slotted

Although I used these screws to replace old rusted screws in my cabinets, the grooves were not deep enough to get a good grip. These screws were very difficult to use. I was hoping to find phillips head screws, but there were none to be found in this size. Standard screws are more difficult to use, and especially when the grooves are not very deep.

These screws are very poor quality. They are not No. 5, as labeled, but closer to No. 3. The screws in the box vary in size. Some of the heads are not round.. This is just poor, cheap, imported merchandise.

To be fair, these are very tiny screws. However, the "slot" is very shallow and one slip of the flathead screwdriver ruins the slot. My advice, purchase twice as many of these as you need for your project as you will go through that many extra. Be prepared.
