New Morning Mercies: A Daily Gospel Devotional

For anybody seeking God's wisdom in such a way that is honest, comprehensive, raw, real, wise and truthful, this is absolutely the devotional for them. What I need most from an author is honestly and transparency. Tripp accomplishes both very well. I need to feel like my guy I'm listening to is on the road that I'm on. Not above it. I don't need somebody to sort of "be on the other side" telling me how to get there. I need somebody who says, 'you know what, in spite of my efforts, I oftentimes find myself still trying to get there.' I've owned this devotional for probably 4 years now and I've never missed a day. Paul David Tripp is an absolute gifted pastor, counselor and author and is one of the most effective tools God uses. His ability to take the very profound and oftentimes mysterious truths about the kingdom of God, and put them in such a way that makes them comprehensive, applicable and relevant to our daily lives, is just simply put - a gift.

After going through this book myself, I have now bought six more copies (& counting) as gifts for friends /family. Paul David Tripp has such a way of presenting elements of Biblical truth in such a way that I have found to be so enlightening. Highly recommend!!

I bought this for my firefighter crew as a Christmas gift. I had a copy on my shelf and had been reading it for a few weeks to see if it would be good to give. I LOVE IT! Full of incredible truth and life-changing, Gospel-centered mindset. Highly recommend this and anything else written by Paul David Tripp. The leather is also a nice classy option, I’m glad I went with it instead of the typical white hardcover, because they look more masculine.

This is one of the best devotionals out there. Tripp's ability to address the heart of the Bible to so many issues and struggles that we walk through daily is a source of great encouragement. His background as a counselor is clear in the way he beautifully articulates the depths of our brokenness and struggles and contrasts that with the beauty of the Gospel. This book would be any encouragement for anyone at any point in their spiritual walk. If they have been a believer for 5 minutes it will help them grasp the deep realities of who God is and if they have been a believer for many, many, years this devotional will help remind them of truths they may have forgotten.

I had purchased the hard book copy and wanted soft cover, it was super hard to find, but this Seller (Thriftbooks) had the item at a reasonable cost. The book made it here in perfect pristine condition as described, brand new. This devotional is one of the best I've read and used to enhance my journey getting to know Jesus, God and the Holy SPirit. Thank you Thriftbooks! I'll be back with more purchases in the future.

This was given to me from a friend and this has been one of my favorite things to gift since. The leather cover makes it feel like an upscale book. The message inside is what makes it extremely valuable. Small sections which are easily read can be done in a rush or take the extra time to read the verses added in your own Bible.If you are considering it for yourself or a friend…DO IT!!!

This is perfect for daily word. This helps if you want to get more in to the Bible with more understanding & helps to be in the word for a longer time. The book also gives scriptures to go and search so it definitely dives in to the word💕
