OT Suggested/Patient Approved
My OT suggested I get something similar as a kitchen aid and it's been a time saver but has made me feel more safe than I had been with knives lately.The only drawback so far is that the latch that keeps it closed when not in use sometimes gets in the way when it IS in use.

Not good
These don’t cut anything very good. They are a pain since so bulky and the latch to clip them shut isn’t very well made and pops off a lot.

Spring rusted
We bought this in July 2020. My wife used it for chopping down lettuce, slicing jalapenos, and so on. She loved it. I use the past tense because today it broke. At first I thought the spring had simply popped off. Upon closer inspection, I see it had in fact rusted through. For an inexpensive widget, I guess a year and a half is ok. If I could get a new spring I wouldn't have to get another one, though...
