Peltier dehumidifiers use a semiconductor to cool coils that draw in moisture from the surrounding air, unlike standard dehumidifiers that use a compressor to cool the coils (similar to a fridge or AC). The benefit is that it uses less energy and is quieter (no noisy compressor). The downside is that it's much less effective.Normal household dehumidifiers are designed to remove 30-90 pints of water per day. By comparison, this one is designed to remove ~0.75 pints per day. Google "dehumidifier size chart", and you'll see that a 1,000 sqft apartment is recommended to have a dehumidifier rated at 70 pints per day. This is only 1% as powerful, so don't expect it to make any noticeable difference on an apartment or large room. But in a very small room, closet, or bathroom, it should help.I have a few peltier dehumidifiers. They are all pretty small. They are all pretty quite (the only sound they make is the noise from their fan, which is similar to the sound a fan on your computer would make). And, they all seem to have these annoying indicator lights at are always on and can't be turned off. I like the shape of this more than my others. However, it also has the smallest tank by far (needs to be emptied every 2-3 days).Generally I don't recommend people get peltier dehumidifiers. But if you're one of the few people who would actually benefit from one, then this is a fine choice.

This is a portable size dehumidifier, easy to carry around and just plug in and ready to use. There are two modes you can set, the regular one and sleep mode. Setting to sleep mode, I barely hear any sound, very quiet. The regular mode you can hear the machine is running but the sound doesn’t bother me. I use it for the bathroom which has no windows and it did collect water after I turned it on for about an hour. I’m satisfied with the machine and it did meet my expection.

I had this on for 2 days and it finally filled up 3/4 of the water bin even though there surely was enough humidity in my bedroom to fill up full way beforehand. The blue light (which is pretty bright, like a night light) that signals that it is on, cannot be turned off which some people might not like if trying to sleep. It seems to use a lot of electricity (not sure, but seemed to be working overtime) for the amount of water it collected over a 2 day span.

This dehumidifier gets the job done! Plus, it's on the smaller side which makes it portable and more convenient. Can be placed on side tables, nightstands, or in even more discreet places (windowsill). Love how this little dehumidifier gets the job done and can replace my bigger and noisy dehumidifier. I prefer this one because it fits in the smaller spaces, like my closet where the larger ones don't. And it works!!! Just make sure you empty the tray since it does hold a smaller capacity of water, but still a great dehumidifier to have. And it's easy to store when not in use. It doesn't take up much space. The color is nice. Extremely easy to use. I am satisfied with this product. :)

A LED light helps you monitor when the bucket or tank is full. Portable and convenient to place anywhere in the home especially in the room it will not disturb you while sleeping because it's very quiet and with night mode. I also love this product because of low power consumption and gives beneficial to your personal health. The quality (2 yrs. Warranty) and decent price, you will not regret it!

This mini Dehumidifier is very convenient it's small easy to carry and fit anywhere you want to place it. I have mine in the bathroom it fit perfectly behing the sink and you can notice if it here because it's very quiet. I will buy if i had the need for more.

I got 4 of these, 1 for each bedroom. It’s been just over a week, and one of them already failed. I’m returning it and hopefully they won’t have an issue with a return without a box, but I wonder how much longer the other 3 will last before they tap out. Not happy.

Great for my small home! For the kitchen, restroom. Pretty much everywhere really quiet too 😍 great for me since I have asthma and sudden changes in temperature like when cooking mess with my respiratory system especially humid air 😌
