They require no sanding, no priming and no waxing..the finish of the paint is just like a waxed chalk paint. You can leave Everlong chalk paint as it is, for a matt chalky finish, or buff with a soft cloth or sponge to activate the unique built in wax, to leave a soft sheen and added protection. Go for a more aged, worn or rustic look by distressing or adding a colour wash to achieve a patina effect. Child safe - EN71-3 compliant so can be used on children's toys and furniture. Odour free - can be used in the home. Water-based - brushes and rollers can be quickly washed in warm water without the need for any harsh solvents. Low VOC content (volatile organic compounds) - ideal for allergy sufferers and families with young children and pets, as well as kind to our environment. Coverage. Chalk paints go a long way due to their great coverage: 500ml Tin - gives 5 to 7m2, slightly more if watered down.
